Course Curriculum Overview
Although I choosed this course because of the suggestion of one of my relative but I think that pharmacy has a lot of real time applications in this world. Like if you see from manufacturing to dispersing the medicines everything is done by pharmacy professionals, which is one of the most important part of medical field. Our exam frequency is generally occurs in between 5 to 6 months and its difficulty level is from medium to high.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements in there 5th or 6th semester. There is also factory level field where student can closely learn about different works that takes place in pharmaceutical factories. What I'm planning to do after degree is masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our yearly fees is 98000(set by state government), which can be given semester wise(two semesters in a year). As per now I don't know about any scholarship but do you can definitely get education loan to pay of fees. And the internships are there but in 6th or 7th semester and I'm in 3nd semester so I don't have any information about it.
Campus Life
Recently sports fest and cultural fest took place in our campus in the month of February and April respectively. There is a wide range of books provided in our library that are subject related and even pharmacopeias. We have seperate practical lab for our different subjects. We don't have any social group or club run by students or for students.
Admission
There is a state level exam by Rajasthani University of health sciences(RUHS) that you need to give for getting admission in pharmacy. You can find its form on the official website of RUHS and the fee for general category is around Rs1800 but if you are from any other category then it is lower than that. Also a preferences given to you while ranking if your domicile resides Rajasthan. And on the basis of the cutoff you will get admission to your selected college and the counselling. It happens once every year which is pretty much difficult.
Faculty
Teachers for our degree are either had a master's degree or PhD level of education. We often have regular classes and from teacher's perspective but it depends on us whether we want to attend or not. They do try to explain the concepts very well.
