Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum is designed by the Jntuh, it is covered on time with good explanation by the faculty. Their teaching methods are very simple and easy to understand but they lack in reaching the point on time. They try to cover maximum topics early and rush the syllabus. The courses are not really handy for us as they are mostly outdated. They can improve the course curriculum and teaching methods by applying practical knowledge to it.
Placement Experience
The placements in our college have taken a great turn compared to past years. The average placement rate is 8LPA this year and will be growing in the next few years, earlier it was around 3LPA-4LPA. Students from 3rd year are eligible for placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and many other startup companies visit our campus and provide high number of offers. This year the placement percentage is 98 which is a great number compared to past years. Many students look for campus placements but there are a few who plan for higher studies and I'm also planning for higher studies in foreign universities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee has increased rapidly over the three years and our college has been given the autonomous status. The fee is still affordable when compared to other colleges and moreover the government gives scholarship upto 35,000 and stipend upto 5000. At present the college fee is around 1,00,000 and an additional fee of 2,500 for jntuh. There is no campus employment provided in the college. There are events or competitions where students can participate and winners are given cash prizes.
Campus Life
There are many clubs in our college like technical club, science club, sports club, traditional club etc... There are many events conducted by these clubs. The college conducts annual day once a year and additionally these clubs conduct events and competitions. The campus life is peaceful yet somewhat disturbing because of the strictness of the faculty and security guards. The library has vast amount of books and they interact well with the students.
Admission
To be accepted into Pallavi engineering college one must write TS-EAMCET and secure at least a rank of 20,000-40,000 in the general category. If anyone wants to join the college directly they can visit the campus in kuntloor and can visit the admissions office they will guide you through the process. If you are from the reservation category you can avail scholarship and stipend from the Telangana government, it will be processed during the document verification after the exam. TS-EAMCET is quite difficult to crack but with some preparation one can easily qrack the exam.
Faculty
The faculty members over here are experienced, there are great lecturers who are very good in interacting with students, however there are some who are not so good with the subject and their interaction with students are really bad. The faculty has inner politics which affects us. Every department especially our Cse department tries to encourage students to gather external knowledge by seeking internships or by participating in events, fairs, summits etc... some even encourage students in their entrepreneurial journey but the higher authorities doesn't support such behaviour and mostly they try to suppress students into focusing only on academics.
