Dislikes

  • Since I had said above that our exams and results are on time but there’s not much time for the lectures and to study
  • As per the rule there should be 6 months for each semester but we barely got 2/3 months which makes very hard to complete the portion for even teachers too

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I want to improve my skills in English actually my course focuses on grammar and functions rather than basic literature in English and since I know the functions very well I am able to speak in English very well and there's one paper named cultural spaces and studies I would suggest that subject to be in every undergraduate course this paper is all about relevant issues in our society (example:- feminism, lgbtq) it has helped us to be more expressive and participative in society. But due to the lack of time, we couldn't complete the portions within the given time

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Telling about the fee structure it differs for different courses for my course it's 75000 per year and 12500 per semester. As long as I know there's no such thing as a scholarship in our university, there are scholarships but that aint helpful for our fee structure When it comes to the fee our university is very strict.

Campus Life :

Our university has a good campus structure. My college is a small college where there is not much space, and there are no political parties in our college. So somehow it's peaceful but we students do have a lack of political knowledge. The books are there in the college library. The library is good.

Hostel Facilities :

I rented a room because our college hostel is very strict. The curfew time is 5:30 and we're not supposed to go out even in holidays other than home. It's like a 10th std based hostel but we're graduate students shouldn't per the rule we're allowed upto 9:30 pm, so I rented a room that's near to my college

Admission :

The admission process was through online application and there wasn't any entrance exam it was based on the score in 12th standard. Students with high marks got admission in colleges under the same university where there is no fee. But I would say that the ranking wasn't fare. For me, it was because I didn't have a high score in 12th std but some of my friends didn't get the best college even though they had the best score but the same time some students with lower scores got into the best colleges.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:10 Their approach to teaching and mentorship is very professional, we always have a thought that whatever happens in our academics or wherever our faculties will be there to help us like a family, they always want us to achieve the best and most of them treat students without partiality.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (English)

I didn’t had much marks in 12th examination. And during pandemic time all of our valuation was liberal since that every one had highmarks so it was hard to get in a university like delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before I'm joining the course, I had many expectations but after 3 semesters the syllabus started becoming useless and complicated. There are many topics in the syllabus which is not have to study. It's like 40% main topics and the rest are stuffed for nothing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many areas of improvements in the course curriculum to be further good and appropriatable. The exam timings could be unexpectable while study materials are nowhere to find which is challenging.
