Insights of RIE based on real experience from a RIE student

My inclination towards teaching and getting chance to pursue my higher education from a recognised top education from top college of the field. ITEP course is very advanced course from normal BEd courses .The course will make students capable for real world applications of teaching. Use of ICT in teaching learning process should be more involved. 2 semester exams are held in every academic year , once in mid Jan -feb and then in July. Moderate questions are asked in exams .

Students are provided internship opportunities in nearby schools , JNVs and KVs . Students of integrated courses are provided internship opportunity in their 7th semester. Similarly, Students of BEd , BEd-MEd,MEd are provide this opportunity in 3rd, 5th and 3rd semester.

Students of integrated courses BSc- BEd and BA-BEd become eligible for campus placement in 8th semester, students of BEd 4th sem, BEd-MEd 6th sem and MEd 4th sem are also eligible. Private schools visit the campus for placements . Generally,schools offer 250000-450000 salary yearly. Almost every candidate get placement. After getting degree, I will also appear for placements.

Tuition fees and mess fee are affordable, it costs around 48k for complete course along with mess fee and accomodation for an academic year.Tuition fees varies but not that much ,they consider the situation of students. Cultural programme and Sports competitions are held in every odd semester in month of March . Many important days are also celebrated enthusiastically. Seminars are held very often. Library is very resourceful providing more than 29k books,journals etc physically ,also facilities members with cloud Library, tablet library. Website of library is very useful with lots of contents in free access to students. Classrooms have both board and projectors too for teaching learning process Big playground is there for Football, Cricket, and grounds for volleyball as well. Open air gym and Gym are also there .Inside academic building, there are two badminton courts. Every hostels are facilitated with TT boards and other playing materials. Students groups are there so that important information can be passed to everyone.

Bed is provided along with basic furnitures and cupboard, fan in every room, room accomodes 2 students comfortably. Food provided in mess is ok ok, but not that good .Menu is made according to food habits of people of Central India . Registration for hostel accomodation can be simply done by filling form for it from academic section and hostel is quite affordable.

Eligibility: 12th pass from any recognised board or equivalent with minimum aggregated marks of 50%. Details about application form, application fees, application dates can be found in website of NCET. Reservation: Similar to norms,rules and regulations of Central Government. NCET exam is conducted once in year . Last year the exam was held in month of MAY. Questions asked are moderate like in CUET, 12th NCERT based. NCTE should decide admission procedure similar for all participating universities and inform the same in brochure of exam.
