Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum shift from IMBA to BBA at Vishwavishwani College significantly impacted my educational journey, offering a robust foundation in business administration akin to MBA programs. Emphasizing real-world applications, internal assessments, presentations, and participation foster holistic learning. 20 marks are alloted as internal marks which will be marked based on the student's behaviour. However, stricter enforcement of attendance and improved organization of extracurricular activities like V-talks and debates is needed. While faculty support is commendable, proactive student engagement is crucial. Vishwavishwani College offers a conducive learning environment but demands active student involvement.
Placement Experience
After the 5th semester students become eligible for placements. Interested students can register for placements with the placement officer for further details. The college claims that huge Multinational corporations attend the placement drive but not many attend. There are few big compayand other normal companies which attend the placement drive. The average annual package one can expect is around 3 - 4 lakhs per annum. Above 50% gof the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is pretty high as compared to other degree colleges in the city with no extra benefits offered. The fees is very high compared to the benefits received. The regularity on fees hikes is not known. Scholarships are given to students with exceptional academics. Placements are a part of the college services but to be honest there are no such great packages for the students. There are various clubs to work in and gain some leadership experience.
Campus Life
There were no much fests conducted in my college life. To be precise only 2-3 fests were conducted throughout my degree. Traditional days, few festivals, freshers and farewell were few noticeable events which were conducted. The management conducts sports festival once a year in which all the sports are conducted. There are various clubs for the students to participate in and conduct various events relating to it. Overall, not much importance is given for college fests .
Admission
Vishwavishwani College's undergraduate admission process is straightforward, omitting entrance exams. Conducted online, it facilitates accessibility amidst COVID-19. The absence of entrance exam cut-offs aims for fairness, considering holistic candidate potentials. However, the personal interview is often ceremonial, with even low-performing candidates securing admission. This leniency reflects the institution's inclusive ethos, valuing diversity over rigid criteria. Any student from any field is allowed to take admission in the college. The frequency of exams is every 6 months and is not much difficult.
Interview Experience
I only had to attend a personal interview before my admission into the college. The interview was pretty vague with no questions related to the field of study. The main aim of the interview is to get to know about the confidence and communication skills of the candidate. There were no GD or test patterns conducted. A student can gain admission to the college even if he or she doesn't answer the questions but stay confident throughout the interview process.
