Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

If I were to read the curriculum and course comprehensiveness then I would rate it as one of the best in the state as it is regularly updated and reviewed and often upgraded according to the need. The curriculum is followed strictly and it prepares for real-world courtrooms too by conducting moot courts and other such activities. The teaching method is generally good but not every part of it is on the same level and it is one of the things that needs serious improvement regarding the institution level. The frequency of exams was uncertain but the level of difficulty was at a certain level where it made you study.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is generally not hiked without any notice and all but there has been a case where it was increased and was notified later on. The regularity of spikes is less and is not much higher and it is only at a rate thag it don't takes toll on student. The complete costing was around 2,20,000/- at my time and it is around 30,000/- to 40,000/- more now. I didn't take any scholarships but university does provide some grants but I don't know much about them. And hostels are out of context being someone from the city itself.

Campus Life

2.5

The Library is great with every book available due to e-library access and even physical books and journals are in ample amount for students. Facilities and technicalities of the classrooms is pretty great and a new building has been built just now with all new standards too. Our college was not much active in other sports but it did went for chess competitions twice and did well. Also clubs and portals are not inba very good shape as there is nothing for them to do.

Admission

The course admission is based on the 12th merit basis and is generally held right after the board's results are released. All the related information is easy to find right at the comfort of your house as you just have to open the website of university and have to search for the new admission details. As there were not any entrance exams at my time and the juniors who are still there often say that even now it is merit based.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education
