What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure is almost decent and it's a eye catcher for the new commers
Cafeteria is good for the student as it's provided meal at good price
Library facilities is good for the student

Dislikes

Big trees are not there for shelter for which student
Drainage system are very bad, as compared to another college, that means water become overflow during rainy season
Classroom should be more digitalized as per the fees

Course Curriculum Overview

SOA is mostly famous for Technical so after reviewing i choosed this course curriculum prepare the students for the interview after 2nd semester in MCA in which they have to do some extra classes like PPT which was helding after or before the classes gets over

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 360000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Intership opportunities are provided to students after the 7th semester for BTECH and 3rd semester for MCA once they match with the companies requirements they can get internship normally internships are available for 1-3 months some paid and unpaid

Placement Experience

It is decent in term of placement because this year recession is going on for that purpose very few companies are hitting the campus i got selected in TCS the highest package was 54 lacks from Microsoft almost 50-60% students gets placed every year

Fees and Financial Aid

When i joined SOA my fee structure was 360000 for the entire course and now i think there is a hike in the tuition fees and they are charging 5000 extra additional as a caution money which students can get refunded after the course

Campus Life

Campus of SOA is not all that big there are 12 boys hostels along with 5 girls hostels all the hostels are within campus expect for 2 boys hostel the distance of the hostel is from the college is of 5-8 minutes in my 2 years of college life i haven't seen any festival here

Hostel Facilities

There are 12 boys hostel and 5 girls hostel there are ac and non AC types typically 3 sharing the rent for a 3 sharing Non Ac room is 94000 hostel and mess there are 2 and 4 sharing also available mess is compulsory cannot be excluded if hostel is opted

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course was through its own exam named SAAT in which students has to score good marks and the exam was conducted via online mode the application form, application fees and application dates were available in their own website

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curiculum offers a well rounded and industry focused education covering core subjects like C,java,C++,python with modern technologies like Machine Learning,Cloud computing etc.The curiculum focuses on practical application with theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems.This approach helps students to get ready for industry level works.While the curiculum is good,I suggest there should be more focus on elective subjects such as cybersecurity,block chain etc rather than only the foundational knowledge.Semester exams are held at end of each semester with internal and pratical examination done beforehand.The exams are moderately difficult but theteaching methods and resource provided by faculties make it better to get good grades in exams.

My Honest Review on my College

In my case I found this college to be the best for me because I was finding a good Law college and this College NIRF rank is 14th. The campus when I entered looked very fascinating. The faculties and staffs were very helpful. I was guided by my relatives that this is a good college for persuing law so I applied for this college. I gave the entrance exam of SAAT and was selected in the first list that was out for the selected students. I received a mail for the date of admissions getting opened. Soon I came for my admissions and I got my admissions done. I had to submit all certificates like the school leaving certificate, 10th and 12th boards marksheet, anti-ragging certificate etc. in xerox copies with small size 5 photos of mine. Everything that was required was mentioned in the mail that was sent by the college. I had not visited any other college or institutions but I had received a offer letter from SRM University Punjab for the law course.
