Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS course will let you be a doctor..or a proffesor and exposes to life long learning environment We have postings in hospitals right from 2nd year where we get to see and learn how real patients are treated in real time scenario, how does stuff maintained and done in big hospital and how to deal with different people. We are posted in different departments of clinicals to learn not only theoretically but practically. Frequency of exams ...: we have 2 sessionals , 1 pre University and 1 University exams along with pcts we have seminars to present. The exams in government medical colleges in mp are conducted by MPMSU . Which maintains a quit difficult level of exams rest the internal exams depends upon the question that your college PROFFESORs prepare which in our case are moderately difficult and more clinical based. Areas of improvement: there are some PROFFESORs generally prefer to teach by PPT which end up just reading then ..so space for inspection is needed, questioner are must

Campus Life

3.5

We have a central library which is well equipped in infrastructure and hold all the books associated with the knowledge of medical education . We have 4 lecture theaters in our college campus all well air conditioned but the anatomy dissection hall lacks air conditioner which is needed there Annual fest are conducted in our college, we have different commitee like cultural, literary, sports , fine arts , ... We have a sports ground in campus , we have badminton court, tennis court space for other indoor activities..

Admission

I had given the neet ug entrance exam which is conducted to get enrollment in a medical college for the courses like MBBS and BDS the exam does holds reservation for the SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories, ..I had given exam in 2022 when the cut off to my college was 555, out of 720, . Counseling stuff I got in the college through state quota . the counseling is conducted under dme mp website , the college faculty are the ones who will do your scrutiny for mine it was the HOD of the anatomy department in my college. Experience and about Our college is situated on highway and has a vast campus along with hostels and library I got to do a lot of new and exciting stuffs like dissection, clinical examination, the PROFFESORs of all the departments especially anat, physio , biochem are the most passionate and helpful, College exams : never ending rat race... have in mind knowledge is always above marks and the most important thing is how much you retain. Viva : the most hilariously important.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
