My College Life- Mother Teresa Engineering college

The course seems to be easy in Anna University and affilated colleges however there are few papers which will stop you in getting the degree they papers like DSP(Digital signal Processing),M1,M2 and M3 maths papers.Computer and related technologies were peak during 2012 and that influenced me to chose the computer science course .The curriculum that was given by anna University is very well synced with the current technology as they are the one who is best in list of other University.We had both practical and therotical classes which helped as in overcoming the competition in the challenging environment after of course completion.The courses should more improved in the real time level most of the students who graduated are good at therotical level when it comes to the industrial standard all were at zero level. Student must get trained more of current Industrial needs and technologies.Becaus lot of my colluges were facing a lot of challenges in the industriea after the completion compl

I was provided with good intership opportunities as there were lot of local companies were tied up with this college and we had a good internship opportunity I got internship opportunity in Private limited company (Opus Infinity) near Trichy which helped me more to learn and implement my ideas in the current technology.I was assigned as Junior webdesigner in that startup company and there I was trained with lot of new skills and it was a great experience as a fresher to get trained in a current technology.

Placements are good here in our college however we were not placed in garde A level companies rather then more local companies campus Interviews were conducted here in our college(companies like TVS, omega,Rane etc).I went through a off campus drive and I got a placed with annaul CTC of 2.5 laksh per annum.There is 90% of student were placed during my batch only few weren't placed as they have not completed the course with in the academic year.I had great plans of studying aboard but after my first job I got settled and left the plans as a dream.

The tution fees was very affordable as many of the student are from rural areas and they college provided lot of scholarships and other benefits and the tution fees over here is very affordable when compared to the other colleges.It costed me around 5 laksh including my hostel fees .Here in this college all the scholarships are provided as per state government and central government schemes.I have got placed in Opus Infinity a small start up company in Trichy and I went through a off campus drive.My roles and responsibilities as team co-ordinator in this college was a good experience.

Campus Life is vibrant with numerous opportunities for social interaction whether it's through dormitory activites,study groups or campus events. Club involvement we had a varies numbers of club inside our college campus like debut clubs, environmental club, dance troupe and a musical band.Our campus conducted several annual festivals such a college founder day,paper presentation and hackothons etc Our classrooms are equipped with state of art technology including interactive white board,projectors and audio systems. Our campus also offered various sports activities.

Our campus provided a good hostel facility we had a separate hostels for boys and girls our hostel is well equipped with all the amenities and we also had a separate study hall and a sepat library for our studies.The meal provide was very good and we didn't had any health issues related to the food as it was very hygiene our college meal menu varies week by week and no foods were repeated and the security system is very good in our college as we hostels were maintained by a well experienced person.We don't have that much PG near our college as it's is located in rural areas in village called illuppur however there are lot of paid rooms can be taken near the college however I would not recommend the outside room life.

I am a merit student so I have applied through tamilnadu Anna University counseling and My counseling happened in Anna University Chennai campus.I was in a plan of choosing ECE (Electronic communication and engineering) however that was not at a good scope.Therefore I switched my opinion to Computer science and engineering as it was peak at that time also many of the computer science graduate were placed in a very good companies like CTS, TCS, Infosys etc.I found the application form in College website and the counseling form was provided by anna University team and application fees during that time was just 1000 rupees and they have given enough time to apply for the course.The reservation was happened as per the state and central government rules however still the college filled few candidates with donations seats.Anna University and affilated college conducts the exam as governed by anna University it was happened Semester by semester and there right semester were conducted in here.
