As I had a background of bsc. (ag), mba (abm) and also after MBA, i have served to some of the organizations like agri input organization like excel crop care science,Agri research India pvt. ltd, agribusiness management collage narayangaon, Pune and Wadala, Solapur. also, some months service to the bank in agrifinance department. that's why I found some scope in research field which can improve my strength in agribusiness field. also, it's one of the good college of abm in india. so i chosen this institute to do ph.d.(abm).

the course ph.d. (ab) covers subjects like econometrics, research methodology, hrm, training, and development for teachers, marketing, etc which gives impact on research field like basic research concepts, framework, problem identification, analysis, forecasting and different statistical methods. etc.

yes, 12000/- per month for 24 months and 14000/- for 6 months. work experience depends on your past career experience.

so far I have seen we have a good support from professors in academics but this is ph.d. course we need to develop and explore our own subject knowledge which is required for any organization or industry. as there is the good job opportunity in the agribusiness field like input sector, research organizations.

we celebrate events which are based on academics, research, field work, laboratory work etc. in academics we need to complete some practical assignment, theory assignment. in research, we need to do some presentations based on research criteria, framework etc.

the fee structure of ph.d. (ab) is for the first year 1.10 lakh, for the second year 1.05 lakh and for the third year 60 thousand. also, total other expenses are around 1.75 lakh including mess and research work. this fee structure expensive if you are not getting the stipend. but for the rank holder, it is quite easy to get teaching assistantship and he can pay his fees.

yes, you can opt for either icar or college fellowship if you have given icar entrance and if you have given a university interview college can offer you a stipend. i.e. teaching assistantship.

gender ratios m-f depend on college 2:1, student/dorm parties - depends on students, workshops, cultural societies or student diversity and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

as we are ph.d. scholar and strength are around 3 students per year, we are staying with MBA student in the same hostel which affects our research environment. there should be a different hostel for ph.d. candidates to study properly their research. as this can be the last degree of their career need to get a boost this time academically as well as professionally.

yes, they are helpful. but as you are ph.d. candidates need to prepare yourself. also, seniors help their juniors whenever they need to.

As this is a research-oriented field we have first two academic semesters and after the first year we have to do 1.5 years research work in which every research student has to complete two credit seminars and a thesis work in any agri or agribusiness based research field.

from my point of view, I found all the teachers good who taught me a particular subject. as they were good enough to explain and explore the subject matter of any topic. also, they having more than 7-8 years of experience of teaching to MBA's and PGDM. also, some of them are working for icar project which is related to research.
