Great college and great industry exposure

Regarding the fees structure and placements, it is good, but infrastructure and faculty will change the opinion of the college. the college is constructed in such a way that all the branches are crooked into a single block and every branch of their labs will be in it. even the faculty are not so highly graduated and their qualification will be b.tech or m.tech.

I have taken EAMCET exam. I had a passion for mechanical engineering which made me choose it.however getting ranks is not a big criterion to look upon for this college.

Our college is affiliated under Jawaharlal Nehru technological university, and we follow their curriculum and course structure.we have five branches (mechanical, civil, electrical, ece, cse).we have two semesters for each year. the whole semester schedule will be based upon the university. the course structure is moderate and not so good, as syllabus will be high and the classes allotted will be low.

Till now our college did not provide any internships. But now they are looking forward to providing internships based on the merit in placement exams.

Placements are good when compared with other colleges. The college management is trying to get as many companies as they can. every year around 60 percent of students gets placed. However, the package lies between 1.5 to 2.5 lakhs per annum. Even the companies we get are medium companies on their annual income scale. (Tech Mahindra, TCS, CADD center, Infosys, IBM, Eureka Forbes etc) . However these companies will not take too many students and they limit themselves to 10-15 students.

Many events are celebrated in our college, and apart from these college functions there will be fests conducted by each department.the college management conducts main events like freshers day, annual day, graduation day etc.., and remaining events will be based upon students interests.

Our college will not provide any scholarship facility, but they will provide no for educational loans.they will take the demand draft from banks and provide the academic fee details for them.however the loan will be available if you stay in a hostel. if you want to stay outside they cant showcase your expenses to the bank.

The campus will be student friendly. the gender ratio will depend upon the branch we choose. Throughout the college, the gender ratio will be around 60: 40. Extracurricular activities will be there according to the branch and their schedule. However, apart from academics, we have cricket ground, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball and indoor stadium. We have a well-equipped gymnasium, but it is not free to use.labs are good and well equipped and every student will have minimum 2 labs for each week.

There will be a good interaction between seniors and juniors .they will be helpful in many aspects of our academics. I did not encounter any experience with alumni but I have gone as a volunteer for placements. The placements take place in this sequence (written test- group discussion-personal interview)

Our exam structure is very aggressive. Every week we have one to two exams. They will never leave us without any work to do. The labs are ok with necessary equipment and we have minimum two labs a week. As our curriculum is in semester pattern we have two mid exams for each semester and in between those mid exams we have unit tests and some other primary school stuff.

Ive got admission through a process called counselling. I will be in 3 phases. Ive opt this college in first counselling . In counselling we should take a copy of every certificate we have procured from school and intermediate(only academics).there some selected officers will check whether the details are correct or not.then they will allot the college. After this we will get a message from college about when we should go to college for admission.

In our college, each department has 2 Ph.D. faculty and other faculties will be moderately qualified i.e.around m.tech. however our faculty will be determined to complete the syllabus within the given time. they will be friendly with the students and we are free to ask doubts anytime. The faculty who teach us will be the in charge of labs and they will teach us in labs.
