Likes

I loved the college environment, we as students had a lot of fun and our faculties at that time were not strict. we had fun playing sports
Also got an opportunity to be a part of the college music band and performed at all the annual functions and fests

Dislikes

The faculties were nice but as a few professors were of a pretty decent age

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to do something in Commerce so i opted for B.com (Honors) as it has specialised feild of study. The Faculty and student ratio was fine as there was enough faculties for the number of students in our college. The Faculty of HSMS are well qualified and also match the teaching standards. The term exams and assessments were always on time and the checking was actually strict so sometimes if a candidate did not prepare for the exam it would surely be hard for him to pass

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was the same throughout the whole course of 3 years. There was no Hike in the Fee at all. Also we could coupons as scolorship which ranged from 20000 to 80000 and was easily usable at the time of admission and the amount mentioned in the coupon was deducted from the fees then and there, I did get a placement in Concentrix (Gurgaon), the stipend was a bit less but i was glad i got a job oppertunity.

Campus Life

Life at college was pretty cool and enjoyable. The annual fest was once a year and it sure was a good one. The fests were mostly conducted in the month of October / November around the time of Diwali We had 2 library's in our building and each and every course books were available along with the other journals and magzines. We had a smart class and projector available in each and every class room which was pretty useful for the students Coming to sports, the college campus has a Gym, Swimming pool, 4 basketball courts, 2 lawn tennis courts and 2 full size football feilds. So the sports and extra curricular activities at the college are pretty awesome.

Admission

There was no enterance exam, There was first a one on one Interview with the faculty and later on there was a GD round. The admission process was quite simple and thats the way i expect it to be as it was just a bachelor degree course

The review from heart

Placement Experience:

The college provides a great scope for campus placement this was one of the main reason I took admission here.Form the second last semester the students become eligible to sit for the placement exams.The college have ties with many big companies and MNCS which provides the opportunity for campus placement. The written exam is conducted in the college campus only and the selected students are called for the interview. The main companies that visit Graphic Era Hill University are - 1:TCS 2: Infosys 3: Adobe 4: Google 5: Microsoft The highest package of the college in previous batch was 50 lakhs per annum and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum.Tough the college does not guarantee 100 percent placement but most of the students get campus placement the percentage would be around 80% . My plans after completing my degree is to get a job as a financial assistant and gain some experience and then pursue MBA .

Designing dreams in graphic Era

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities for b.com honours are decent,only few students get placed, Around 40 to 50% of students in last batch got placed. The average package offered ranges between 2 to 3 lpa while some students with better skills secured a better package. Companies like TCS,Deloitte,Infosys is very active in campus placement but you should not be concerned about placements if you are doing BCom focus on your skills and you will secure a good package or focus on masters then after you can expect a good package

Because my brother told me to do this course. Faculty is there and everything is there as per their knowledge. Student Ration 54:6. Qualification is higher and she has done a Ph.D. Teaching teachers are mind-blowing. Term exams are accurate and on time. what is difficult, if you study, it will not be difficult.

Remarks:

Positive remarks is good fees structure and provide scholarship for poor students and the negative remark is the building of that college is very old and messy. It should be renovated. And providing a good canteen also.
