The teachers are good and experienced in their job
The students are good as they are not involved in ragging.
The library of college is very large and have no of books.

The infrastructure of college is not very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are some additional subjects in bcom hons. The faculty is good and experienced. Their teaching method is satisfactory. The students are not taking seriously. The exams were moderate. Exams was not so much difficult to pass.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 37000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees for bcom hons is near about 37000 for first year in Modi College patiala. There was no opportunity of scholarship or any financial assistance . Also there was no chances of any campus jobs.

Campus Life

The social life in college was good. The students were kind. But there are no clubs or groups made by students. The infrastructure of college was not so good. The library is good as it it very large and contains thousands of books.

Admission

In the Modi College,Patiala , an admission form was filled. The candidates which scored 70%or above are taken. There are around 150 seats of bcom hons in Modi College.All the seats were filled without any cutoff,but according to the score of students.

Placement Experience:

After the second semester students is eligible for placement so many companies were comming . There are minimum 100 companies are visites in my college and they offer 5 to 10 lakh per annum The highest package is 50 lakh per annum 90 percentage student getting placement My plan after degree to start a business

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is not very good for bcom. They provide decent placement to some brilliant students who are good in academics. The average placement for my course is nearly 3lpa. There are many companies who visits the campus and provides campus placement too. Sales is the widest scope for placement opportunities

LU : A good experience

Placement Experience:

The placements in undergraduate course is not much but yeah the college have placements that are good at their level for post graduates. Average package is 4.5LPA .From the 3rd year a person become eligible for placement. A undergraduate from bcom gets around2.5LPA - 3.5 lpa as a beginner.

As I am from commerce background I opt for B.com the syllabus is quite good and easy it is totally same to my previous course of 12th and 11th . It consists of every syllabus regarding commerce. Exam is conducted for 3 hours and for MCQs for 2 hours
