Remarks
In overall, I can say that the college is good and has freedom with limits. Such as We have to attend every hour including first hour or else they put absent for whole day. There is a bus facility provided by the college that can go from Krishnagiri to Bangalore border.
Entrance Preview
No, there was no entrance exam required to be written in order to get admission in this college. I chose to get admission in this college as it was very close to my home and also the course I wanted to study was available there. No, there was no interview process followed at the time of my admission. I chose this course because it had a good scope in the IT field.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I chose was not that good, as per my expectations. There is not that much practical learning encouraged in our college. Though, there is around 40% practical learning being taught to us, out of the complete syllabus till now. No, the college does not take any research initiatives as per my observation. No, there are no elective options available to us.
Internships Opportunities
Nope, there was no internship offers provided by our college. But we do have third party companies that come to our college in order to offer us internships. I have not taken part in such internships so I have no much idea or even experience of such. I also do not know about the stipend amount.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario was not too good and not too bad. Around 80% of the students from our department got placed during the placement scenario held. There were many companies that visited our campus, out of which some are, ‘Infosys, TechMahindra, Biocon, Tata Consultancy Services, HP, Nexus’, and so on. I have no idea about the average salary that was given to the students.
College Events
Yes, they do help organize events in the campus. Majority of the events were based on cultural events. The events organised are depending upon the contributions made by the students themselves. The average footfall was around 300, but I’m not sure as 'I never attended the events, and will not attend the events and will never ever wish to attend the events'. No, the college organization and the authorities do not contribute much to such events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was pretty affordable for us. The fees were up to Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000 for every single year. The fees included Tuition fees, Library fees, Laboratory fees, and there are also fees for placement training provided by the institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
Maybe the college does provide internship, I do not know about it as I never availed it. No, they do not give any loan to the students. The college also does not help in getting loans.
Campus Life
Yes, the college does support in hosting extracurricular activities. They host a wide variety of such events including Sport competitions, dance competitions, singing competitions, technical competitions and several other such events. Yes, they do help by providing us ample opportunities to explore our inner talents more often. Yes, they do have facilities for hosting such events, such as we have a big cricket ground, a huge stage and several other facilities.
Hostel Facilities
No, I do not reside in the hostel as I stay close to the college, and travel daily by the bus facility provided by the college. The hostel rooms were sharing, and the rooms were medium in size. No, there are no PGs present close to our college. The hostel fees would be up to Rs. 60,000 approx. for every single year. The Hostel food was not that good.
Alumni/Alumna
My alumni network was good enough and was pretty interactive. But no the college does provide any platform for student-alumni interaction. No, the alumni do not contribute to the college.
Exam Structure
The exams held were a chill culture to me. The internals we have are usually once per week. Where there are only one or two subjects. Since we have it per week, we get enough time to study for the next test, while attending classes. But in the externals we get around 2-3 days holiday between each test subject.
Faculty
The faculties in my department were highly qualified, where some even had a Ph.D. in particular subjects. Majority of the faculties were experienced but there are freshers also as our college also takes freshers into the department. They were interactive but they are not available all the time. The standard of teaching provided was average.
