Course Curriculum Overview

I decided to take this course to gain more knowledge about management. The curriculum is designed in way that each student have the knowledge to navigate the dynamic global market place ethically, and embrace lifelong learnings for sustainable business sucess. The faculty at this institution are outstanding. They are kind and helpful, and they will always be available to listen to your concerns.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Aditya Birla Group, Zencraft, Mondelez, Nerolac paints etc provides intership opportunities to our college. Management trainee, HR executive, sales executive, financial analyst are some of the roles offered by the company.

Placement Experience

From semester 3 a student becomes eligible for campus placements. Highest package offer is 12Lakhs LPA. The avgerage package is around 5-6Lakhs LPA. 100% students gets placed in well known company every year from campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees structure for the 2023-2025 PGDM program is 715000. It is to be paid in installments. Based on the couse structure and the curriculum, the fees are reasonable. The charges for hostel facility is not included in the above mentioned fees.

Campus Life

Bauddhika is the anuual fest of the campus, conducted in the month of January and apart from that there are various events organized by the students management team. Students have access to plenty of books in the library. The campus encourages its students to participate in various sports events. Each and every extra curricular activites have a purpose to teach real life lesson to the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are quite good. They have triple sharing and double sharing beds. Rooms have proper beds, cupboards, lights, washroom etc. The AC and geyser works fine. Water is available 24*7. And they have water filters as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 126000 per year

Admission

The candidate should have valid score cards from any of the India tests like CAT/MAT/XAT not taken earlier than 12 months at the time of application. Applications form for CAT is available at iimcat.ac.in. Application fees is 2300/- Application form for MAT is available in AIMA MAT website, mat.aima.in. Apllication fees for IBT or PBT or CBT is 1950/-

Interview Experience

First of all they asked me to introduce myself in brief. Then the interview questions I was asked were related to my feild of study, some general knowledge, and if you read newspaper daily then they might ask you to explain about the latest news, and few questions were about the place from where I belong,

bussiness driven acedemics they teach exel, ppt, managerial behavior
mentor session every week in this they focus on student's personal growth

Dislikes

area like this based in shale ahmedabad where little rain can stop or affect the transportation

im persuing the colledge not get placed yet our seniour placements started and 30% palcements are done in their 3rd samister and every after 2-3 days someone comes from seniour to give the sweet for their celebartion on placement

Likes

Strong emphasis on real-world, practical applications over just theory.
The daily class timetable is well structured and very student friendly.
Many Clubs for Sports, and Extra Curricular activities.

Dislikes

The on campus drainage system is poor, leading to waterlogging during rains.
The mess lacks experienced cooks to properly preaire non-Gujrati food for students from other staters.
Location is far from city, so significant travel just for basics.

Placement Experience:

Placements of SBS are Good In terms of Long Term Exposure in the Industry. Students become Eligible for Campuse Placements after 5 Semester in SBS. Since I have recently Joined the SBS List of Companies Visted and No of offers they have made are unknown to me.

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.
The campus environment is good, with useful facilities and a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.
Some campus facilities can be improved further to make student life more comfortable.

i applied in private colleges but in that the faculty are not PHD holders, curriculum are avrage as normal. i applied in gtu on merit basis of CMAT. nirma but they only consider cat asperiant , i got the addmission in narayana but their fees is high about 10lakhs but they not do any extra like sbs and thier curriculum is managed by GTU....Read More
