Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course as I wanted to become a software engineer. The faculties are well trained and their way of teaching is pretty decent. The faculties teach using boards as well as with a presentation with the help of a projector which is present in each class. The exams are conducted once every 2 months to keep the students academically active and the exams are easy to pass as the students are made study before the exams

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I don't have any ideas about the internships provided, maybe they have internship opportunities but we still aren't given any insights on the internship opportunities that we can avail, I will update if there is any

Placement Experience

4

The college has 90% placement opportunities and many companies like Vipro, Accenture, TCS, etc visit the campus for the placement drives. The students can avail for placements during their 7th and 8th semesters. The students that doesn't get placed can avail for jobs in companies on their own which solely depends on their skillset.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total tuition fee for the course is 5 lakhs which brings the fee to 1.2 lakhs per year. There are also many scholarships that are available to the students which makes it a little easier for them to pay their fees. The scholarship that I availed for reduced my fee to 0.95 lakhs per year which helped me save 1 lakh from my total tuition fee.

Campus Life

4

There are some annual events as the culturals and a sports day and tech events such as symposiums and inter department competitions. The students are allowed to take books from the library for reference purposes and a student can take a maximum of 2 books which he has to renew once every month. There are also many clubs which work to improve the student's skills and standards towards their fields.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

I'm not an hostel student and I don't have much insights on the hostel facilities. I though heard that the food is decent, like average and the they get non-veg food for 5-6 days in the week. Maybe, check some other reviews for hostel facilities

Admission

There weren't any entrance exams for the course and the admission process was easy. The fee for the admission form was Rs.1000/- per form. The students are allowed to choose the course they want based on their cut-off marks from their 11th and 12th grade. The minimum cutoff for my course was 100/200.

Interview Experience

3.5

There was no written test or GD for the admission but there was a small interview kinda thing where the admissioner asked me some questions related to my idea on the course and the field I have chosen. The questions were pretty simple to answer

Placement Experience:

The college provides four tracks for students: the placement track, higher studies track, entrepreneur track and the government exam track. Students can opt for any one track during their third year of study. The campus placements starts from the mid of third year. Mnc's like Accenture, cognizant visited our company the ratio is also good. Lot of startup's and core companies have also hired students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5 th semester ,however they are not allowed to join companies before completing the current course. Many companies have visited like(CTS, Accenture, Soti, cart rabbit , course 5i and many more) in my batch out of 800+ students around 200 - 250 got placed . The highest pacakge is 13.5 LPA and the average package is around 4.5 LPA - 6LPA. College say its 100 percent placement but nowadays its not true because about 20-25 percent students are bot placed because of skill issues. My plan is to get placed in a good company and save some decent amount and start trading.

The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed. My plan is to start private construction agency.
