Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

For us the term exams are yearly with mid exams 3 times a year. We have good faculty for some subject. Sometimes it felt like we studied from PowerPoints more than classes. We have few months struggles for perfect classes. And at the end we manage to do the best in final exams but studying what ever the material we can get.

Internships Opportunities

5

The best thing about my college is the internship at aster ramesh guntur and nagarjuna hospital vijayawada. They gave the best exposure into the clinical settings. In 6th year with projects in different department gave us in depth information about the department and best chance to communicate with great Doctors.

Placement Experience

2

As a pharmD student by studying 6 long years all we got is 2 placements related to medical coding with monthly pay of 15k and scribe with 25k.honestly this is not whate we are prepared for after seeing the campus and boardings.

Fees and Financial Aid

I felt the worst was the fee structure we don't why we are paying extra payments even in corona situation for having online calsses. Again no scholarship just because we are OC. Every where we go we find the reservation people getting paid even though they are wealthy enough to pay there own. There was no intimate about the scholarship provided for us. And few years we even paid fine for having 95 percent attendance. At the final year for having around 89 too we paid amount.

Campus Life

4.5

We have SAC student activity council designed by my classmates it was the best thing that happened in my college days. We got the chance to show case our talent in cultural and ither extra circular activities. This gave us best college memories

Admission

I took the EAMCET entrance test and that's the moment i got to know about cast reservations. And i felt like i couldn't do anything because i am OC. We worked harder to get the rank but people who are 10k ranks behind us get the free seat and why can't we just because of cast. At a point i felt so low about my future of becoming a doctor after writing NEET and getting seat that need to be paid just because of my cast. I wish things may change and this reservation process changes and give us the so called middle class OC people a chance to perceive the study we wanted. And i also wish colleges stops bragging about the placements which they don't even provide and they show the placements students got on their as their achieve. Being a pharmD student i regret choosing this course in India because of the opportunities and lack of respect for us in the society and that applies to the university we studied in. Through my college i got perfect internship experience but not a settled job.

Other Applied Colleges

Chebrolu Hanumaiah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences - [CHIPS] | Bachelor of Pharmacy [B.Pharm]

Because i got a chance to study pharmD in vignan

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me most is the course provide me with the doctorate as it is a 6 year course it help me to learn new things in medicine. We also visit hospital ward for rounds which helps us to prepare for real world application. The teachers should improve learning ways to shift to board method and the exams would be only once a month. The timings of exam should be increased so that the difficulty level can be reached
