Awesome memories

The college did not provide good seating facilities in classrooms. The elctricity was not there. Poor faculty coaching and will allow fine for each and small mistakes.

I took engineering entrance examintion and got disqualified. I did not get admission in any colleges in trivandrum. So i have opted for this college which is ANNA University.

There were 8 semesters. One semester 6 theory papers each and 3 lab practicals for each semester. In 4th year we have to do 2 projects. One is mini project and other is main project. In Anna university there are no electives.we have to study all subjects. There is also no seminar paper for us.

In our college only one or two companies came at the time period we were studying. Highly reputed companies like HCL and CTS came and offered good packages.

About 56 people were placed. Only HCL and CTS came to our college. Then some BPO companies came. HCL - 22,000 per monthCTS - 25,000 per month.

There were onam celebrations, Freshers day, College day, Sports day functions. They are celebrated grandly. Famous celebrities will be invited in college day functions.

The fees was too expensive. Each year we have pay 49,000 to the college. First year -49,000, Second year 49,000 and 5000 for books. Third year and 4th year also same.

I did not take any loan from the college. The college did not offer any scholarship for students. The management only gave time limt for students who did not pay their fees on time.

Campus life was good. Labs and worshop is good. At our time,construction only was going on. The campus was not fully built. The work was only going in the campus at our time of joining. It is situated in 40 acres of rubber estate.

The hostel food was not good. They provide non veg for only 2 days in a week. Also there were no cleanliness.

Our seniors was very supportive amd encouraging. There were no ragging in college just formal introduction from them.They will clear any doubts from our point of view.

The college conducts series tests every month. In univserity exams for each paper we have to pay 100 rupees for registering and 400 rupees for arrear exams.

The faculty of our college was not so good. Our HOD in Department was not so encouraging to us. There are only a few who have great knowledge in subjects they teach.
