Aieee ,1 lakh 23 thousand .I came here for counceling of JMIT .

Internships Opportunities

No company came to our campus for offering internship. We had to find internships ourself through our contacts. There was no support from the institution in finding the internship .

Placement Experience

As this is the 4th year of the college companies are coming to JMIT but JMIT students are allowed to sit for placement drive in JMIT . Mass recruiter TCS came and 10-12 small companies came to. Around 50 students are placed .

College Events

Each department holds a tech fest every year. There is one cultural fest every year. But there is no star night. But we are invited to jmit's fests as well. Cultural fest is of two days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee structure is very very feasible. They take 41000 at start of odd semesters and22000 at starting of even semesters. As compared to other institution fee structure is quite inexpensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes for poor students loan and scholarship facility is available. As I have not availed it so don't know much about it.

Campus Life

Campus life is not so good. The crowd is not good at all. Although extracurricular events are organised but the participation and management is not up to the mark.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are newly built and rooms are single sitters which I believe is a great point. They are in expensive too. Only 22000 per annum. But the mess food is not up to the mark, specially dinner.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Profitable for new student for choosing their dream college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students applicable for placement. Highest placement of second last year is 52 lakh per annum and average 16 lakh. In case no campus placement I have family support in some companies. Approximately 70 percentage students placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exam are not so big problem. In one semester there are 2 sessional exams and one end semester exams are taken at the end of the semester. And papers made are not so difficult.

About NIFTEM from my eyes

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods,etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

It's nice and college is good

Placement Experience:

The placement here is good. Mostly companies arrive in our college to induct students. At the last skill matters. Last year Microsoft came and gave 60 lakh. Student of civil. So in the end we have to learn to code.

My Journey at NIFTEM

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.

I choose this college because the placement opportunities during my admission time was very good and almost eveyone from college got placed. The second reason was the fees was less then other colleges such as chandigarh , chitkara university.
