Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose BCom because I was very clear before choosing this that I should pursue BCom and then an MBA, so I chose BCom. Here facilities are good and well-educated people are there. They conduct 2 internal tests and according to the university, they provide exams once in 6 months as sem exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Vision Sports was one of the internships that was private it provided me with 3k per month, as a sales and even for a content writer, and college provided me with another internship called Groww which provided me with the basics of the stock market.

Placement Experience

4.5

Campus placements go on from the 5th semester itself, The companies that have been visited are KPMG, Society General, London Stock Exchange, Northern Trust, and many more. The average package is 3.5 lpa and the highest is 11 lpa. Above 80% get placed here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good only compared to other colleges, And the cost to study is affordable they are not huge in numbers, but they provide their own scholarship for students every year who got 90% in previous exams as 10000rs, I got placed as an analyst role with a package off 350000.

Campus Life

4.5

They conduct every year fest and college days and even sports days once a year. They have a proper library with all types of books which you need. Here sports are given with utmost prior to it. Many programs are conducted like NSS, NAC, etc.

Admission

The admission process was simple, we should do well in our previous exams based on the eligibility criteria takes place, You can choose any course you need there is no force for that. The application form will be provided in the office department and also on the official Seshadripuram website, Application fees are just 70 rs. Reservation benefits are they provide a 10000 rs. scholarship for securing above 90%, in the previous exam, the reservation process goes for only SC/ST students they are provided with reservation benefits. There will be no entrance exam for this college, And now our college has having A++ aggregate provided by NACC during 2023. And our college is under Bangalore Central University, Cut off marks to get in Seshadripuram main college is 70% above. They will leave for 3 days continuous which the students are shortlisted from each batch and then if they occur on the list they can continue with the admission process. I don't suggest any improvement in the admission process.

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
