Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken Electronics and Communication Engineering, I chose this because I had an interest in electronics so I took it. There are sufficient faculties in ece department, per class there will be 60 students. The faculties are well qualified most of them completed their Ph.D. others completed their M.E.. The teaching is excellent, and there are more experienced staff. Exams take place monthly once or twice as IAE internal examination. Topics should be learned on a daily basis otherwise it will be difficult to get good marks

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 182000 per year

Internships Opportunities

CTS, ZOHO, MINDTREE, etc. Provides internships and also along with stipend. These companies provide tasks which are capable for the students to be done on their knowledge. They also give more work-related ideas to them, to develop their skills.

Placement Experience

Placements are Good in St.Joseph's College of engineering, from the 6th semester they are eligible for the campus placements. There will be many companies who conduct their recruitment in the college like CTS, Tcs, Zoho, Infosys, Musigma, Renault, Nokia, Vivo, etc. More than 75% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike, once the fee has been paid there will be no other expense. Scholarships are available can get from available sources like govt. scholarships or anything. The required time has been provided to claim the scholarship

Campus Life

Yearly there will be Inter College Department Symposiums, Sports day will be there, College day, Culturals and for Hostel students there will be Hostel Day. There is a big library and book bank which contains all the required books for each and every student. Each class contains 6 fans and big windows so there will be good ventilation. Bences will be in good condition. Intra-college sports tournaments will take place in which anyone can participate. Clubs will take place once a month on Saturday, a whole day has been given for that. Many clubs are available, it's the student's wish to join in any club.

Admission

For those who applying for a UG B.E degree in St.JOSEPH'S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING CHENNAI, The marks they obtain in their 12th Standard should be as required by the college. For the Management quota, 55% of the 12th mark is enough to get into the college. The application will be issued by the college management it will not be seen online, Once you choose the college and pay the application fee then they will give you the application form. There will be no reservation benefits unless the admission is confirmed for the student. Admission to college is good so there is no need for any improvement

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

I have applied for 3 to 4 colleges and this college feels better as the fee are less compared to them and the placement percentage are higher than them .
