College management was really good, including the faculty members selected for teaching the subject had really very good knowledge which they would transfer it to us.
Entrance Preview
for admission in SIWS, there is no such criteria of entrance exams eligibility. students who have scored above 60% in 12th HSC or equivalent boards can apply for admission in the college I always wanted to get into IT Sector as i think my computer knowledge is very good,but at the same time i didn't wanted to do engineering,because i knew i would screw up in it! so this was the best viable option to choose from!
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BsC IT since i loved technical things and languages, course structure was as usual provided by Mumbai University, bt one thing about this course was you need a good mathematics score since it involves lot of maths. You can even apply for this course if you are a commerce student and have taken maths as the option in ur 11-12th.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provides internship however don't know much about the stipend and overall experience. There were some guest lecturer in between the terms.
Placement Experience
Placement is pretty decent. Near about 30 companies visit the campus throughout the final year. Packages range from 3 lac to 7 lac. A striking opportunity is given by a company called works app which offers a package of 35 lac p.a. Other companies like media. net, oracle, atos, capgemini, L&T and TCS visit the campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is little bit high bit it'd affordable for middle class family 1st year fees is nearly 50000 and it increase every year by 3000 to 4000 rs But in this fees the facility provided to students was really good and this is the common fees for every college and the best facility in this cost was really a good opportunity for the bright students.
Faculty
the teaching faculty at vidyalankar is very enthusiastic and experienced. they have struck a nice balance between young energetic teachers and experienced and respected professors. students always feel free to ask or discuss any topics with the faculties
