The best thing in SIMATS is infrastructure, Its so good compared to all other colleges in chennai, You can experience it while getting admission, but the experience after joining this college is some horrible as there will so many workds to do .

Course Curriculum is the worst thing in this college as you wont get enough time for spending in extra curricular activities
Not all the teachers are trained here ,
You cant get enough holidays in this college, as well as you can take so many days of leave.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good but there will be a lot of work you should do while studying at this college, Most of the faculties are well trained. The teaching method is a little okay here. Exams are regular in this college, you will be writing daily tests and weekly model exams. Getting holidays in this college is so rare.

Placement Experience

Though they say 100% placement college, There won't be so high salary hike for you. Avg salary is only provided like 2l-6l, It's so difficult to survive in this college with the expectation of placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little better compared to other colleges. Good infrastructure. The scholarship is given based on your Class XII marks. Salary packages are less in this college. You have to go on your way to get a good job with a better package.

Campus Life

The annual fest in this college is celebrated in a fantastic manner. There are so many clubs in this college you can join. Infrastructure is the only good opinion about this college. Don't expect so many leaves in this college. You can only take 2-3 days of leave per subject for 3 months.

Admission

The admission process is quite simple, They consider our XII marks for admission. Based on that only, purely the fee structure is decided. If you have got 90% in Class XII, you will be getting fees of 1.5L, 80% 2.0L, and so on.

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . As far off noe, 98%percentage of students who opt for placements get placed. I want to get placed after finishing my degree.
