There is nothing in a degree

I liked to work in hote industry and because of that and there was no college near to my home which offer this course. In our class for the first semester there were 40 students but now it's only 28 where other's drop out the college. The total number of faculty we had for the first semester was six. Which make seven students for one teacher. The concern faculties for each subject is an holder of doctor and some were going for getting doctorate. The classes were taking in power point as well as traditional way like giving notes. The exams were conducted semester wise. At the end of each semester exam will conduct. Since the course is autonomous the question paper were prepared by the concern faculty and it will be slightly tough to pass the exam. The valuation will be done by some outside professores. If we have wrote few points in the paper we will get enough mark to pass. It is not that much had to pass the subjects.

The fee structure of the course is a little bit high. The total cost for three years will be 320000 including the exam fee for each semester. In the first semester the total fee will be around one lack seventy thousand rupees including the registration fee, college fee, university fee and all other fees. It need to be paid within the end of first semeseter. If we do not paid the fee then they won't allow us to write the firs semester exam. 55000 rupees will be need for second year and thrid year and need to pay the fee in the 3rd semester as well as 5th semester as the academic year starts. The college don't provide any scholarships but for students from karnataka can apply for the state scholarships and the college will provide the neessary requirments. The college will provide financial assistance for taking loan from banks. Few interview has been gave from the college as a placement opportunity. Not everyone can get the job on college placement. Only few will get.

Our batch starts at the time of covid-19 which made all programs not to be conducted. Even our orientation program has got several restriction. The college fest was happend in the third year. For every programs students need to take the responsibility. The college department even don't gave any fund for the conduction of the events all the fund need to be get from the srudents only. The college will not gave any assistance in doing it. The college have a good library and neat carpet area. The college provide a good number of books for the tourism and hospitality studets. In every class room there will be one projector one system and writing benches will be there as per the number of students. The college doesn't have ang sports but in the main college there is volleyball, cricket, football and throwball is there. Those who want to engage in games can go there. The students are not running any social groups but there will be some social campaignes.

The college is provinding hostel facility for girls and not for boys. In girls hostel, three members will be there in one room. No attached bathroom is there. The food given in there is completely vegetarian. No non veg will be given. But there is no problem in getting from outside. Boys most of them will be living in a PG, rented apartments or hostel outside the college premises. The room facilitys were different from room to room and buildimg to building. Our PG were having food and accomodation with rs 5500 for a month. Three times non veg will be there in a week. Tea and evening snack will be provided from there. Only our identity copy is required for registration. The quality of the food was okay first but later the quality got bad and even the food become worst to consume. The PG is 1 KM away from the college and public buses will be near to college.

I was not aware of the college untill a person came and talk to me about the college. There was no entrance exam for the admisson. Admission form can be get form the administration office by paying an admission fee 10000 which won't get back even if we cancel our admission. The college doesn't have any reservation for any caste or a parricular state students. Those who have a cut off mark in the 12th can apply for the course. The course offers a lot of opportunities in the hotel and hospitality sector. Front office, room maintenance, chef are the few position where we can work for. The hotel and hospitality sector is growing rapidly which give lot of oppurtunity for the candidates to pursue. The application will be starting at the month of september or october and classes will commece from December. For the suggestion part, if the admisson fee is less it will be very good for the students. 1000 is a huge amount, and if we cancel our admission we will lose that much amount.
