I choose Economics Hons. because of the scope and its benefits and special for that person who wants to job in RBI. Very good facilities in the college. All the teachers have high qualifications some teachers crack the net exam and study at the Delhi School of Economics. The exam is consumed by the university it will be held every semester.

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 4000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees structure is around 2000 to 8000 depending on the category and course. Scholarships are provided by the government like nsp scholarship and the sc/bc scholarship. Every year many companies visit colleges for placement.

Campus Life

Freshers and farewells are organized every year. Approx. all the books available in the library and good environment it and if any book not available in library you note that name to the librarian and it will provide to you soon. The classroom is very clean and fully safe, and many social groups like nsp, abvp, etc.

Admission

The eligibility is 12th pass in any board. Applications details on the higher education website go to this site and fill out the form and confirm your admission to this college then pay fees. No availed for reservation. The good process is not to require a change.

JGU is delightful place!!

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

A well developed basketball court is being provided by the college so that boys and girls can freely and actively play and refresh their minds.It is a huge court .Students love to play here as it is the most fascinating sport.Boys and girls are given equal privileges in respect to the court.

Ragging free and good campus

Eligibilty of every undergraduate course is 12 pass and according to their stream the student can persue for their course. Application form was filled from the haryana admission website, application fees of government college was online from same website. I didn't get any reservation benefit though i was from desm category but due to no. seat in this course i didn't get this benefit. Timing of exams is 2 times in the year.
