Course Curriculum Overview

4

Term exams were conducted 3 times in a semester before the university exam and it was pretty ok to pass the exam. You need more preparation for scoring good marks in the subject. Since this is an affiliated college you need to prepare well for and semester exams

Placement Experience

1

Our batch has got very low placement in the history of college only 10 out of 52 were placed through campus placements. I joined Masters immediately after completing the course. Placement training will be given

Fees and Financial Aid

Personally, i was not eligible for any of the scholarships but the college has many scholarship schemes mandated by the government and there was no scholarship given but the college on its own cost to the students

Campus Life

4

The college annually conducts cultural fest and sports fest. Regarding the library, it was pretty decent and has all major collections of engineering books. The classrooms were spacious and decent. Labs as prescribed by the university

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels were pretty costly but food was also average only. Non-veg for 2 days a week. I stayed 2 years in a hostel and in a room 3 persons were accommodated they will provide a cot. Registration for the hostel was pretty simple

Admission

The admission process has gone as prescribed by Anna university and there should be a proper guideline for management quota seats. Needs more transparency in terms of hostel /bus fees. Education loans must be properly guided

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Sometimes academic calendars are not given prior
