Entrance Preview

I took RPET exam to get into the college. I got a decent rank of 12453. It was the only prestigious college in nearby locations and provided awesome laboratories to work and excellent faculty with great infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the faculties were really qualified and had knowledge of theoretical as well as practical aspects of the subject matter. The course curriculum was detailed with some research activities.

Internships Opportunities

My experience was a good one. Many companies came but I chose Rockwell Automation as I was Interested to know the automation segment of the technology. Apart from Rockwell eInfochips, Hindustan Zinc, Pyrotech, Bosch etc etc gave internship to my classmates. Stipend was on an average 10000 INR.

Placement Experience

Placements are great. Almost all of the students of my batch were placed in really great companies. I cant name all the companies as it would be a lot but I will name a few important and great ones. Infosys, TCS, HExaware, Accenture, Syntel, Bosch, einfochips, Hitachi, Cognizant, Capgemini, Amdocs etc. are a few to name.They all offered on an average of 3.5 lakh annually which is great as an start.

Fees and Financial Aid

Various scholarships are available for top performer. I do not know in detail but yeah scholarships are available and also there is an opportunity to complete your final year in USA along with the internship program and for that also scholarship is available.

Hostel Facilities

Accommodation facility was good. It was a two sharing room, properly ventilated, big space, decent cupboards with comfortable beds. Food was good. Daily cleaning happened. The hostel is in a homely neighborhood area. All the facilities are available at a

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the curriculam is good easily accesable and reachable and i have selected electronics only because i have interested in it from the very starting and the curriculam is good for me. Yes the curriculam helps to solve the real world probelm but not at all as most of it are theoritical and but some lab experiments and good. Exams are held every 2 months sometimes it become difficult to face the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

A Practical Choice: Affordable Education and Decent Campus Life

i chose this college over Arya college jaipur , because both offer the same course under Rajasthan Technical University , but my current college has lower fees. The course structure. syllabus, and degree value remain the same, making it a more affordable choice. Additionally,Udaipur offers a great cultural experience and a chance to meet diverse people. i didn't face rejection from any college but opted for this one due to code-effectiveness. The addmission process was smooth, as I got in through the management quota, which is based on 12th grade marks. While the college accepts varoius entrance exams, amnagement quota admissions are simplier with minimal paperwork. The staff provided proper guidance, ensuring a hassle -free experience.
