Course Curriculum Overview
When i was studying 80% of the curriculum is useful to present status and the rest 20% is outdated. Now the curriculum has be updated and very useful to the students for later on studies or jobs. It will be good to add some more lab hours which helps in increasing the practical ability of the students.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't provide any internship facilities as it is not possible under the educational system of JNTU KAKINADA. So there will be no word of stipend.
Placement Experience
The placement of our college was dealt by a seperate cell called Training and placements cell headed by Mr TiruSameer Yarlagadda. Nearly 200+ students got placed every year in renounced companies namely Accenture, HP,L&T etc. The packages offered by the companies are 2.5CTC as minimum.
College Events
The first event conducted by the management of our college is the parents meet on the joining day of the course. Secondly as Fresher's day was celebrated by the senior students under the guidance of Management.This is treated as the welcome to the course beginners. All the national festivals were celebrated with patriotism under the guidance of NSS cadets. An yearly festival was celebrated under the name SAPTAVARNA which is a national wide that include technical and cultural events lasts for two days.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible to a common man.Even the government provides fee reimbursement process under which the government pays the entire course fee as well as hostel fee. The fee can be paid on monthly basis or as a whole at one . The fee should be completely paid two months in prior of the course completion.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided based on the academic performance of the students. Also the best student award was given to a student every year as condolence to a student who lost his life for college.
Campus Life
Every student in the college is given same priority irrespective of the gender.The students are allowed to participate in extracurricular activities such as seminars, NSS and NCC training and lot more.Many cultural events were organised by the management that includes all the students and staff.A technical and cultural festival is organized under the name of SAPTAVARNA.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure was well developed, allowing 3-4 members to stay in a hostel room provided with good ventilation. College provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls separately.The vegetables were grown inside the college premises that is used as food in the mess. The average rent per year for the P.G is nearly thirty thousand rupees.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college helped a lot during the course and even after the course completion. They provide good suggestions and helps in getting information for the further studies or jobs.
Exam Structure
The examination structure is same as the JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY , KAKINADA as our college is affiliated to that university. The exam structure consists of two mid term exams an a final semester for each academic year.The labs were not hectic but also very enthusiastic.We (as a student )eagerly await for the labs.
Admission
I got admission in the college under Management category. Under this process, one need to provide the certificates of previous classes. The administration was very fare that includes a partnership of four members among which Er.T.Ashok Kumar is the Managing Director.
Faculty
The faculty of our college are well qualified and interested towards teaching. They keep keen observation on every student and helps in upgrading the student. Apart from class work they also help in extracurricular activities which makes the relationship between the teacher and student much better.
