Life Changing Journey with SKIPS

The warmth and rigor of the school hasn’t changed one bit. I visited skips this year. It always feels home till date whenever we go back. At the last alumni meet, I remember meeting the old professors. Its is such a great feel.

I took CAT exam in which i scored 80%. I was in ahemedabad - born and raised and there SKIPS had always been a reputed brand. A decade old management institute with a very selective criteria for students. My first reason, i selected St kabir institute of professional studies because of its market reputation. Secondly, the infrastructure and faculty they were so nice to me on my first visit at SKIPS . I was really impressed.

A lot of focus on research is indulged at SKIPS. We get to attend constructive films screening sessions, book reading sessions, workshops and seminars with industry leaders, participating stimulation games, roll plays, etc to prop deep into a subject. Our mentors beside being professors. They maintain a ' open door policy " to help us reach out to them at any point in time. This help us gain maximum leverage in terms of research work in our interested areas.

Yes, i did my internship with Perfect Solutions as Marketing Outreach Intern. That was my very first experinece working with a corporate firm. And must say, It was amazing i got to learn so many things. That was the day i realized that only theoretical knowledge is not enough. Practical knowledge is must nowadays.

SKIPS students are trained for placements from the out-start of their journey with the B-school. A number of recruiters picks graduates from the school because of alumni's outstanding performances in the companies. The curriculum being extremely strong, SKIPS students are supported by Placement team throughout.

The Book Club, Movie Club, annual fest, stock exchange club for finance students, etc were very celebrated events at SKIPS. I was the finance team head in our annual fest. It was so much fun back then. Movie Cub used to be my favorite event of all time.

Tusion fee of SKIPS stands to be - 4,45,500 Fee structure of SKIPS is feasible as compared to other B- school. If one is looking for Sound Management career SKIPS is the best.The best part about SKIPS is it does stand on its words and commitment unlike others. The school is well maintaining its fame and brand.

No, I don't think so. However, there were clear guidelines "Candidates are requested not to depend upon or deal with any person or organization/s claiming to be associated with the Institute" . SKIPS does not have any branch.

My campus life was memerable and life time experience for me. It involves days of Masti at the same time days of sorrow. I am really thankful to SKIPS for letting me be an cative part of this journey with amazingly supportive teachers and friends (who pushed me throughout my college years to become what i am now).

SKIPS is not a residential programme. So they doesn't provide hostel facility in campus. But as few of my friends were coming from different states, the faculty at SKIPS guided them to get a Pg/ Hostel facilty nearby. The cafeteria was our famous "Lost & Found adda". Who so ever is lost in the campus must be found in Cafeteria.

The alumni network of SKIPS is very strong. Our seniors often visit the campus to be an active part of several events. Our seniors were very interacting. They even came to help us with few event and assignments.

At SKIPS , we don't have day or night. Our days are settled on the basis of lectures and classes to attend. I still remember the days we used to take lectures from 8am to 8pm with just one break of 15 minutes. Our exams and Labs used to leave us with a hectic day.

Firstly i appeared in CAT admission test. After that i filled SKIPS form online and regitered for furthur screen test and personal Interview. I got a mail in few week that i am short listed for screening and PI. I visited campus on the date mentioned, gone through both the processes. Checked Merit list it had my name.

Faculty at SKIPS are the Pillor of the college.The B- school is under guidance of some of the leading industry practitioners and academicians. Faculty here are very helpful. whenever we needed anthing they werethere to help us out. There was one, my fav professor who literally helped me through my most difficult times.
