Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is relevant and to fill the gaps, the faculty uses case studies to teach as well. The faculty encourages students to do internships and it is compulsory in 2nd year to complete at least one internship. The college conducts several seminars and invites several companies in the placement drives to provide its Student internship opportunities. The biggest strength of the college is its faculty. Their pedagogy is excellent and they are very supportive and friendly.
Internships Opportunities
Sales, accounting, technical, admin, training, Tele-calling, insurance, media etc. The college provides internship opportunities and placement opportunities to all departments, art, commerce and science. In the second year, one has to complete at least one internship, it is compulsory.
Placement Experience
Students from all years are eligible for placements as the drive provides internship, part-time and full-time opportunities to its students. About 75% of students get placed and the average package is around 3lac p.a. and the maximum goes up to 6lac p.a.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 37000 if you completed 12th from Maharashtra Board and 37500 in all other cases. The second-year and third-year fees are 35000. The college website says that it proclaimed scholarship and financial assistance but don't know much about it.
Campus Life
The library is filled with books of a variety of genres. One does not have to rely on outside libraries. The classroom is not air-conditioned but is well-ventilated. The college encourages sports activities but does not have a lot of facilities, but encourages to utilise the facilities that are present. The event committee of BMS is very active and organises a lot of seminars and talks. Clubs are not that active so not a lot of activities happen, but the cultural club do celebrate every single festival.
Admission
To secure admission in the BMS course one needs to have above 60% in their Class 12th. If you go to the college office, they guide you properly regarding all the procedures. The people sitting at the admission desk are very friendly and give you all the necessary and relevant information required.
