Entrance Preview

I gave JEE-Advanced, is the entrance examination and the only option to get into this college. I had appeared twice for the exam, securing All-India-Ranks 17249 and 9471 in both the attempts.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, generally the companies send advertisements regarding internships or entrance exams to acquire the internships. Great companies like Goldman Sachs, Google, etc offer higher stipends even more than Rs. 20,000 per month.

Placement Experience

Yes, placement facility is provided by the college. JIET offer the maximum and highest placements in India, and JIET ranks 2-4 among all, most of the times. Highest package offered varies from Rs 5 lakhs to Rs 12 lakhs per annum.

Alumni/Alumna

However, alumni are not a body, they are individuals whose campus experiences, current life achievements, and position of connections strengthen the group in bringing excellence in technical education covering vary wide arena.

Faculty

The faculty is highly qualified, and as its JIET, it has to be as per the selection procedures. However, their qualification is not of use to the students, except when taking projects under them. About 90% of them are not interested in teaching or don't have teaching skills.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Life at Manipal -More than just a college experience

Placement Experience:

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
