The curriculum of the college is very old and totally depends on the university which is Rajasthan technical university. and faculty of the college is very good and humble always ready to solve the query of students and there is much more exposure in the college via faculty. If you interact with them.

The fee of the college is very low it is about 65000 per annum and there are many scholarship programs provided by the college for student who are not financially good but is good in their study so can apply for a scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus of the college is about 55 acre and you get the best campus life in college you learn a lot of life lesson on campus there is also 7 to 8 clubs in college in different sector and they organise many events in college. the annual fest of college is zwst which celebrate in the month of December. There is also many sports event organised in our college.

Admission

I get admission through reap process which is a state-level examination for engineering. The cutoff depends on jee mains percentile. The college has 5 courses in engineering and the famous branch of the college is computer science.

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.
