Remarks

For admission either you need to give MHCET that is (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test). Eligibility criteria are Science background with more than 55%. You will find the application form on the college website that is acs.dypvp.edu.in

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BCA as I came from a biology background but was highly interested in tech so I opted for BCA. Faculty is helpful but you need to put in your efforts too. Need to explore new things and concepts from your end. Qualification of faculty: Majority facilities are masters from CS, M.Sc in CS Exams are very easy if you just be regular with your work and curriculum.

Placement Experience

Companies start visiting the campus in 3rd year and their hiring starts. Companies such as Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, TechMahindra, Persistent and various other startup organizations visited our college. A good percentage of students got placed and I am one of them. Placement totally depends on your skills and the company's requirements. So work on your skills right after entering college. Currently, I am working right now with Cognizant as FTE (Full-time Employee) and gaining experience after that would move towards Masters's (probably MCA).

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees for OMS (Other than Maharashtra students) are around 60-65 k/yr. There are various government schemes and scholarships available and some of my friends (especially Maharashtra candidates) have availed advantage of them. But personally, I have not availed of any such benefits so for Scholarship and other financial assistance I am unaware so sry.

Campus Life

The annual fest that happens in DY is DY Explorer it's a tech fest other than this a gaming fest is also conducted by the Animation department actually not able to recall its name. Availability of all kinds of books is there in the library. You can issue them anytime. Regarding sports and other extracurricular activities so there are selective sports only such as football kabaddi events held Another social group that is there where you can participate is dpu rotract club of acs.

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible after completing 4th to 5th semester. In 6th semester which is last semester fo the course , companies start to visit campus . Companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Flipkart and more . recently from pass out batch highest package is 19LPA and average is about 4LPA.About 40 to 50 % students get placed.

Many reputed companies like Wipro Barclays ?Bajaj come to our Jspm University to give placement. There are many more companies which come to Jspm to give placements. Basically, 60 to 70% student get placement in campus they provide the basic package of 2 to 3 lakhs per annum. In certain cases. The package is much higher. It depends on the student.
