Remarks

It is the best college in India. I just love being here.

Entrance Preview

I gave the Entrance exam and personal interview for admission in Navrachana University. I chose BCA from Navrachana because of the quality of education they offer is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is very good. The syllabus is well organised and the course curriculum is a well researched pattern which will benefit the students a lot. They manage the syllabus in way that it never becomes a stress on you. You'll enjoy the syllabus here as it makes studies very easy.

Internships Opportunities

Till now I haven't attended it but according to seniors its very good. Companies like Cisco etc come and it's a great opportunity for us.

Placement Experience

4.5

It's superb. Being a well reputed university, NUV attracts a lot of companies. The package is attractive. 360,000 rs per annum for BCA + MCA students. The job opportunities are very high as Vadodara is a important city in Gujarat and it is an educational hub. So companies always try to get the talents from NUV in their company.

College Events

5

All the major events and festivals are celebrated. And various days like exhibitions, fates, seminars etc are conducted helping us in our development. Trips are organised and guests also come to help us by sharing their views send experiences. Overall, NUV gives the best to the students when it comes to events in the campus

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. I'm paying just 40000 per semester for BCA. And you are assisted by the financial department staffs on every matter related to payment. In BCA you have to pay only 40000 per semester plus 10000 guarantee fees which is refundable. So you'll pay only 240,000 in 3 years for BCA.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know but there are scholarships for bright students depending on their performance. The students are assisted and are well informed whenever such offers are available.

Campus Life

4.5

This is what I love the most about NUV. Students from every corner of country, friendly atmosphere, caring seniors and respecting juniors. It like home. And yes, we do a lot of extra curriculars together and its a lot of fun. We students care for each other making us all a Family and NUV our home.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel Facilities are very good. The rooms are cozy and value for money. It is very comfortable for studies. The mess food is very tasty and healthy. They serve us food with a lot of love. We feel like we are at our home. Infact the food here makes remember by mom.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. They are always available for us. Whenever we ask for help they come forward and help us.

Exam Structure

It is impressive. It helps us shape well. We benefit a lot from these facilities. Its very cozy in the labs. The exams are stress free and are conducted in a way that you don't get tensed at all. You'll enjoy giving exams here as they create a very friendly environment and students feel like home.

Admission

I filled an admission form. They gave me a date for my entrance exam. I gave my entrance exam and personal interview. I got selected. Easy. The admission process is very easy. Parents and students wont feel any problems in getting admission as the staff is very supportive.

Faculty

5

The faculty is very supportive and caring. They give personal care to every student as if we are their own child. Professionally, they are very skilled in their job. They are highly qualified who give us good theoretical and practical training. And they even motivate us by giving us moral support.

Remarks:

Advantages: without these new opportunities, many students would never have realized a college degree was still possible. The advantages include: 1. Reduced Cost The competitiveness for enrolling students in online courses (or to complete degree programs), literally from across the globe, has created a marketplace that enables students to enroll in almost any course provided by dozens of institutions. This competition has driven both the cost to the institution and the price for the student downward due to almost unlimited enrollments. 2. Accessibility Similarly, the online course environment and proliferation of such opportunities enables students to enroll in courses at multiple times during the calendar year and to complete the required work for each course on their own time, that is, around work, family and other personal obligations. Students are also able to complete courses at a single location, usually their own home, a library or some other designated space. The alleviation of time and space restrictions for learning is a tremendous enhancement to this degree completion opportunity. 3. Fulfillment of Dreams Perhaps the most significant of the results associated with these opportunities for many students is the realization they are able to earn a degree, which might have seemed unattainable until now. Many of the barriers to completion are removed from their paths and a college degree is suddenly within reach. Disadvantages: capitalizing on these opportunities may come with some risk. The consumer of any commodity must always acknowledge the “buyer beware” warning label, and this is unfortunately also true with higher education. Some disadvantages (warnings) include: 1. Inflated Expectations (especially for transfer) Sometimes students may become so enthralled with their new opportunities for courses they might make assumptions about how their newly-earned credits will apply to their previous degree program or transfer to the institutions they previously attended. Academic policies at a former institution might allow for limited courses taken at other institutions, have time limits on specific courses or have substantial changes in degree requirements. Clearly, students must confer with the institution from which they intend to earn a degree before enrolling in courses. 2. Coherence of the Degree Program When students take advantage of the multiple and varied opportunities for completing courses that enable them to advance their degree, they often succumb to the simple criterion of availability — if it meets a requirement, it’s okay. This principle might be true, but the relationships of the total curriculum could easily be lost in the disconnectedness of taking courses from many different sources. This is not to say students do not learn from each course, but that the integration of course content may not be obvious when left to the individual students to infer. 3. Vulnerability Unfortunately, there are course and degree “providers” engaged in this new opportunity that are not as ethical, or even legitimate, as most are. Misleading advertising can be very compelling to the eager and unsuspecting student, especially since there has been so much positive press about these expectations and opportunities. However, diploma mills do exist, and the student is responsible to verify a provider’s status. Also, some institutions may mask their lack of specific accreditation(s) in order to attract unsuspecting students. Such accreditations can be especially relevant in professional and licensure programs, and even in traditional liberal arts and science, business, health care and other areas.
