Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Civil engineering above any other branch of engineering because i love to study about the elements of civil engineering. Faculty was very good and helpful to all the students and exams were also timely held

Class Size: 2500Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I got an internship for a well-known company L&T. Internship was for 1 month and no stipend was provided for the internship. And also students have to find a place for internships themselves. But all students get an internship.

Placement Experience

5th-semester students got eligible for campus placements. Some companies came for campus placements and placements were good enough, many students got placements. The package was 1.5 lakhs per annum. Almost all the students of the civil branch got placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were very decent for both free-seat students as well as payment-seat students and fees should be submitted timely (every semester). Kalyan provides a scholarship for reservation category students.

Campus Life

At the time I took admission after 1 and a half years of class lockdown started. So I cant enjoy the annual fest. Books were available in the library needy students can get books from there. Sports activities also take place from time to time

Inside my college -gp latehar

Placement Experience:

In my college the placement system is not very strong because no big companies actually visit our campus. Students become eligible from 5th semester but still there is no regular campus drive. Sometimes small local garages or workshops come but they dont offer proper package, mostly they give training type work with very low salary. So there is nothing like highest or average package in my college, and only around 5–10% students manage to get some kind of job through their own contacts or relatives. Most of the students prefer to go for B.Tech or prepare for govt exams after diploma because campus placement is almost not there. My plan after completing the course is also to study further and look for better opportunities outside, since my college does not provide strong placement support. Overall placement in my college is weak and needs lot good improvement but the vishal sir is very good to get job for for others

Placements: The placements in our college are very good. The highest salary package was 6 LPA and the lowest salary package was 2 LPA. There are also scholarships provided by our college. PFW Kotak is also provided to us. Currently, I am studying at KK Polytechnic and our branch is mechanical.

Students are eligible to apply for placements after 5th semester and many companies visit our college every year providing job opportunities. Name of the some of the companies visited this year are JSW STEEL, TATA STEEL, TATA POWER, Larsen and Toubro , etc. They provided on average of 15-20 offers for students . Average package was 5lpa and highest being 10lpa for student who got placed in TATA STEEL. They are offered jobs as site Junior Engineer. About 50% students got placed. I am planning to continue my studies further and completing B.Tech

Anyone who has completed their 10th from any board can apply. This is a semi-government college u can go through private as well as government seats. through the government, seat fees are 8k per year, and for the private seat, it is around 45000 to 50k for any branch. Madhupur polytechnic, most of the things you need to know.

The eligibility criteria are that you should pass class 10 to taking admitted in 1st year(regular).
