Remarks

I had given my Eamcet examination in the year 2019. Being an unreserved student I was able to secure ECE at Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College now called as MohanBabu University with a state rank of 9725. Now as the college is announced as University it has two recruitment processes one is through an entrance examination conducted by the University and the other is through AP Eamcet.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for ece because my seniors guided me that with ece one can move either to the hardware or software industry. Generally, the ratio is like for every 30 students one faculty is assigned as a mentor. Generally, faculty uses chalk and board method and sometimes project the PPT for practical and real-life applications depiction

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After my selection at campus placements out of 3 companies, two of them offered internship opportunities from Jan 2023 with a stipend of rs. 20000 per month. I was associated with the graduate engineer trainee role.

Placement Experience

I am eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester on my campus. Many companies attempted the on-campus drives and I got selected by three companies named Accenture, Mindtree, and Tech Mahindra. My highest package was 4.5LPA. and the college's highest package was 44LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 97800 per year excluding the hostel fee and other miscellaneous fees. Generally, if students are made admission through AP Eamcet then the government will reimburse the amount of the fee. Only building fees have to be paid annually

Campus Life

Mohanamantra is a techno-cultural fest being conducted every year which involves a lot of technical and fun events. A lot of exposure to society makes us mold into a perfect individuals. Every classroom consists of digital boards which help the students to deliver presentations.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is simply awesome. We generally have 3 sharing or 4 sharing or 5 sharing in each room. Food is of quality and the snacks provided by them are very good for the health of the student. Food is hygienic and good

Review of My college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. There are a lot of companies that visit my college including Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Quaxy and many more. Number of offers made are above 500. Highest package in 2024 was 40 lpa and average package was 5 lpa. Almost 90 percent of the students were placed. I'll go with placement after my degree.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements based on thier performance and cgpa or else they must be placed after four semesters in b. Tech. Many companies like Tesla, Amazon, Google, Infosys, Wipro, .. visit the college annually. Average package is of 8lakh per annum and the highest package is 60lpa. 80 percent of the students get placed at the end of the semester. My plans after the degree is to get a good job offering me a minimum 40lpa and after the will establish my own company in the market.

I had applied to other college s too, but chose this one since the faculty of this college was sound and the placement services were also good. I did get confirmed admissions from a few, but this college had more industry ties and modern infrastructure, I am sorry to say that I had to keep myself deprived of IIT because of a lower entrance exam score. The admission process to my college is pretty smooth. It accepts EAMCET, JEE, and management quota. EAMCET was the most preferred one of these with a cutoff around 90.
