Amazing life at Hotel.

I was searching for the best college in Uttrakhand for Hotel Management with the best teachers and the best knowledge (Theory and Practical). I got "Shri Ram Institute, Dehradun" every time, I just search for their contact and I hit it too. I Whatsapp and email them and Send whole information about my Percentage at 12th and my Name, I'm from, etc. They replied the next day with a call and I talked and asked for facilities and teaching, I liked the person on call and I accepted the invitation they gave me I admission to it by Sir and did all documents work Online I just have to go to college and Talk face to face and give them proof. Because of Covid-19, It all was done Online.

I choose a BACHELOR OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT for the knowledge in Theory and to improve my skills in Practical. I assumed that BHM gives more opportunities for learning and improving Personality development. Teachers are so nice and supportive, they do Practical every week and also let us do ourselves because it is a good thing to learn ourselves. They just guide us & correct us on our wrong decision or take out the answers from us by giving the right direction. Teachers were qualified and have 20+ years of experience at Field (HOTEL) AMD more than Eight in Teaching. They take the test at the end of the Month and the end of the Semester.

Taj, Marriott, Oberoi, ITC, and IHG companies provided us with the Stipend and training at their hotels and different departments. We were offered approximately 1200 and the different hotels had different Stipend according to Policy and also had different working hours. We were at different departments for 1 month each, we learned What's their responsibilities and role with Hotel and guests. We learned how they work and mead for their growth and hotels. What's their role at different Events?

We were eligible for the Campus placements after 3rd Semester because we were cleared with our Basics and we also did so many practices in our skills, but we still had to improve in Communication, we lack on that think after 4th semester we were cleared in it also and we went to campus visit and training. I was placed at Taj Hotel, Jaipur we learned so many things there and the staff there was so supportive, creative, knowledgeable, smart, hardworking and so much more. I've my plans after the degree is to improve more skills and knowledge in my field and also work in the best company for growth. 98% of students were placed and they all were at Standard Hotels and 5-star hotels.

The fees for one Semester were approximately 40000 and it was structured as Tuition fees and Journal fees we have to give Semester Exam fees and also VIVA fees. It was quite good. We were given the Uniform fees and they offered us Meal free. We got our Internship at the Taj hotel, Jaipur and the stipend they provide was approximately 1200, but the knowledge was more important than seeing how hotel's each department handles different problems.

Our Campus life is not much amazing but the Teachers and Students were so amazing, we did so many things during Practical sessions, and also we had some Celebrations like Deepawali and Christmas. Our Institute was Keep on telling us about the Ongoing competition in different regions and I'm different fields. We also attended the Briefing which occurred at starting of Classes. And we had given topics or we can tell students about anything we know related to our subjects.

The hotel was around 2kilometer from Institute and we go there on foot, they provide us there Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. We all had separate rooms and separate washrooms, it was a 3-floor hostel and had a roof from where we can see the beautiful views of the Mountain (Mussoorie) and also of the City, it was surrounded by Farms. They had given us One bed, Almira, Chair, Matrix, and Geezer. We had 3-time meals and ships were near and all facilities. We give them 5000 every month as fees, it included the number of meals and living and later on they increase to 6000 after 2 months because of issues. We had a great time there and the memories are beautiful. The meal was good and it was healthy too and it keep changing daily and it had the Cyclic menu Included the Veg and Non-Veg meal.
