The application process is through an entrance exam named GPAT which is an Indian exam. And the cut-off was 100/500. Eligibility is graduation i.e. Bachelor of Pharmacy. The application can be filled out on the official site GPAT.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose M.pharmacy because I am interested in research and want to pursue a career in Pharmaceuticals. Faculty: student ratio is good. Qualification of faculty is up to the mark and they are all well educated.
Internships Opportunities
Novartis offered a role in Regulatory affairs and Formulation and Development. In TCS role offered was Pharmacovigilance, clinical research, and PV associate. In Mylan, they offered a production officer post.
Placement Experience
Placements were available. Fourth-semester students were eligible. Companies visited Gebbs, Mylan, and Emcure. A number of offers made were good. The highest package offered was five lakhs per annum. 100% of students were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees were according to government regulation as it is a government college. The cost to study is reasonable. Also GPAT qualified students get a stipend of Rs. 12500. The name of the scholarship is AICTE-approved. Job opportunity is good.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. Availability of books and journals are easily available. The amenities in the classroom were good. Sports and extracurricular activities were well organised. There were social groups, and clubs.
