Remarks

I have been admitted for b.a in DAV college Abohar after 12th with arts. It is the best college. There are many facilities and fees is also not much I say you should also go to the college for a course which you want I suggest it the best college

I want to go abroad so I choose as I have not much interested in studying but the teachers are very good at teaching. there are 200 students approximately, All course teachers are well educated

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not much in my college it was affordable students can also get a scholarship and work part-time with education there is not much pressure on fees and Study on the student are happy in college

Campus Life

There are many annual events in the college there are all the basic facilities available the college rooms are well and ac is available. The rooms are well painted and in good condition. The building is new and good.

This is a very good college. Different types of course available in the college. I choose the BA course which is not too hard. Because the college facility is too good. In the exam the time is not sufficient for the students.

Overall university is nice but i would suggest to opt for government colleges if you are looking in Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

In last year means in semester 5th , amity offers placements. Companies visited was amazon, Google, microsoft , airtel , flipkart , deloitte and adobe in 2023. Package:- highest 10 lakh per annum and average was 5-6 lakh per annum offered by deloitte and hdfc 8000+ students got placements. My plans after the degree are Ma in clinical psychology from abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally choose this course to prepare for competitive exams. As most of the syllabus of that exams is from this stream. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30. Teachers are well qualified but the teaching method is not very much convenient. The college conducts two MSTs in a semester and the level of MST is average.

Admission:

For pursuing BA, students must have passed 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with 50% aggregate marks. College select students through preparing the merit list. My name was there in the first shortlist. After that, I appeared at the university for the documentation process.

Few things weren't there but it was worth it.

Our college was good with academics and our faculty was great but the unfamiliar ways of behavior towards several things were very unacceptable. Like, girls weren't allowed to wear capries or boys and girls weren't allowed to stand and talk, it was taken as something wrong. This waS very stupid and very narrow minded. Management is the weakest part of the college. Paying fee is HUGE HASSLE in the college.
