Remarks

I have selected the college through anna university Chennai for counselling based on the cutoff secured in the board exam. the college has provided the dates for admission. overall the experience is good for the admission, everything was in an organized manner.

Course Curriculum Overview

The qualification of the faculty was ME and their teaching was very good. The term exams were conducted once a month and it was very easy to score because if we listened in class we can able to clear those target marks.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. I have visited so many off-campus placements and campuses too. for a person upto 3 offers is made. The highest is 10l and Lowest is 2L.90 % of students were placed. After getting the degree I joined the company

Fees and Financial Aid

we were supposed to pay the fee decided by the anna university as tution fee and extra transportation charges were paid. I was eligible for a first graduate scholarship which was given by the Tamilnadu government. I got a job offer in CTS with 3 lakhs per annum

Campus Life

Books were given by the college itself and we can get it other books from the library for reviewing of particular topics. amenities are a projector, and a green board. On sports day they conducted a volleyball match and more sports were there. I was among the GREEN CLUB

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
