My college experience

This has the highest cutoff for computer science. But they are not providing the facilities that are needed for students. There are no competitive events in academics. There is not much infrastructure and it is a small campus. There are fun events and sports events conducted in the college

Since my intermediate, I was passionate about mechanical engineering. So I choose mechanical engineering. The student ratio is like 1:3 where girls have a fewer number. The teaching method is boring and not interactive. Lecturer completes the lessons just for the seek of completing the syllabus. The is 45 days for every half term. It is not that hard to pass the exams and not easy as well.

From the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Nearly 8 companies visited like Accenture, tcs, delite etc. The highest package is 6 lakhs and the average package is 3.5 lakhs. Nearly 55 per cent of students get placements. I planned to prepare for UPSC exam

For now, the state government is providing total scholarships for those who secured seats in the state entrance exam. The college is providing another scholarship that paid for a college seat. Campus jobs are not that good. The starting package is 2.5 lakhs and the highest package is 6 lakhs

There is no annual fest or college fest conducted in college. The classrooms are not that clean and they are very old. The college does not conduct any sports events and does not support any students who are interested in sports. There are some clubs which are good like English club and the extra activities club which are both fun, provide knowledge and improve communication skills

The facilities are quite good. The rooms have enough space and they are cleaned and maintained well. The food menu is also good. In hostel, they provide nutritious food and maintain good quality raw materials. The hostel fee payment is once a year. There are many pgs and rooms available nearby.
