Remarks

Admission should be conducted a bit more systematically, and all the documents required for the Admission process should be told beforehand. The teachers and staff should be more polite to the students

Due to covid reasons, the term exams were delayed, so we had our term exams every three months, before the external exams we had to appear for the internal exams and after the internals, the external was conducted after a week or two. It wasn't so difficult to pass if your preparation is on point it's not a big deal to score good marks

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 1167 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

One of the plus points of this college is that the fees are very low and affordable we only had to pay once before our semester exams and the amount was quite low..it is very affordable for students with bad financial conditions

Campus Life

There weren't any groups or websites but we have our college group where all the important information was sent through WhatsApp and even notes are sent by teachers in this group. Though we weren't allowed to send any text messages in the group

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . The exams timings was not much good, It has to be improved, the 1 st sem exam was held after 1 year of admission and afterthat next sem was taken earlier.

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.
