Course Curriculum Overview
It was my dream since childhood, I was fond of Aeroplanes and when I came to know about this Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course from one of my friend, I became excited and searched for details. This course is approved by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India and the best part of this is that no IIT, NIT or any university can conduct this course, only it can be pursued by AME Colleges. Students are quite good in class and mentorship of faculty members is good and only 30 students maximum allowed in a class. I say teachers are the backbone of my success. Most of the faculty members are having a vast practical experience in the aviation industry. they teach us like first they taught us theoretical principles and then they demonstrate us on the Aircraft in col
Internships Opportunities
Sha-Shib Aerospace Engineering has tie-ups with Air India, and Go First Airlines and the group has tie-ups with most of the major organisations of India for internships like GMR Aerotechnic, Indamer Aviation, Deccan Charters, Global Vectra etc.
Placement Experience
Yes, our college has campus placements and in our batch, all the students were placed. Most of my batchmates are working in INDIGO, SPICEJET, VISTARA, AIR INDIA, Qatar Airways, Emirates etc. One of my batchmates received a 48.5 lac package. Even as our college is part of the largest group in south Asia for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Training so they have their own Aircraft Service centres and flying clubs. Students can opt for in-house placement also.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I had studied in the college, I personally say the Management of the college is very much supportive. They have not charged a single extra amount as committed in the fee structure and it was around 500000, what I spent on my studies. Yes, colleges do have scholarship options for the deserving candidate as you can apply for their scholarship exam and can get a good scholarship amount. When comes to the placement options, Sha-Shib Aerospace Engineering is backed by the "Largest Group In South Asia For Providing Training In Aircraft Maintenance Engineering" so The group is having tie-ups with most of the organisations in India and some Internationa companies also so we had a good placement and if I remember correctly the average annual package was 13 lakhs.
Campus Life
Our college has students from across India so we have a lot of fun, mostly we were celebrating all festivals like HOLI, DIWALI, GANESH CHATURTHI, NAVARATRI, Eid, Christmas and other days like Engineers day, Freshers day, Farewell for seniors etc. Overall I can say my college days were my best days.
Hostel Facilities
I was in hosteller student, it was the first time, I have left my home and said without my parents in the hostel. Initially, it was a bit difficult to stay without parents but staying with your friends with no restrictions of parents is have really enjoyed. Our hostel was twin sharing and food was nice but I must say the rules for study time were strict and you can not escape from the study time.
