The managements just need to work in form of cleanliness and providing enough funds at times. There is no outing organised by the departments; students pay their own for any outing like nursery schools or food institutes.

This is the only college in Jodhpur with B.Sc H.Sc course. There is no entrance exam but you get admission on the basis 12th percent and merit. The chances of getting admitted in this college for this course are very high. There are around 40 seats and most of the years only 20-25 seats are filled.

In the 1st year, the course consist of 9 subjects with the science subjects like physics, chemistry and biology and home science subjects like textile, food and nutrition, extension education, home management and human development. English and Hindi is language subject and you can choose one of them. You will have practical of each subjects. The 2nd year contain mainly of home science subject with quite a depth. The course focuses on each and every subject very well. The 3th year focuses on details of home science subjects. But as compared to other colleges like D.U it little lack behind.

No, our college doesn’t provide any form of internship but students can opt for any kind of internship on their own and college provide confirmation letter to them.

No companies come to our college for placement ever. The subjects of home science provide vast number of job opportunities. One has to work hard in their field. one get a job in textile industry, in NGOs, food industries, schools of special kids, interior or fashion designing. the opportunities for home science students are vast.

Once a year freshers party occur in department or sometimes outside in some party halls. AIDs awareness program/competition held every in department where students are told to draw a posters. the posters are then exhibited in the corridor for other teachers and student. Every year one fest is organised and in the fest Miss K.N competition is held. apart from college activities election are also occurs. The homescience departmnet also organised a fair every year in college campus and students of each year need to contribute in it in form of creating something unique.

The college is Government College so the fees are very feasible. You can complete your B.Sc home science course in less than 12000. There are no extra fees of laboratory too. You have to pay your fees at time of admission form submission. you need to pay some extra amount to your departments at time of college parties and some extra-curricular activities.

No there is no scholarship and loans are provided in college but one can get help from the main university of the college.

The college is Girls College so there is no issue of gender ratio. The campus life is very good if you have a good company of friends. A garden is situated in between the campus and has many drinking water sources with purifiers. The campus is large and has a canteen at back side of college departments. A huge library is also their where you can issue your library cards for free. Every student is allowed to visit events of every departments of the college. The campus has many Wi-Fi and students can use it for free. Every department have it own computers for it students. Students can talk to principal and reach the office any time if any problem occurs. For the security some CCTV cameras are also used.

The hostel is situated in the college campus. Hostel is Just half kilometre away from the department. Hostels room have 1-2-3 individual sharing. Not every room have it personal toilets and bathroom. The fee of the room is deposited in every 3 months i.e. around 3-5 thousand. Every month mess fee is 2100. Mess have only vegetarian food and serve 3 meals a day and 2times snacks and tea. The hostel has dining area which have proper dining table and chairs. The hostel has its own Wi-Fi which can be used by students for free. Students are allowed to have their vehicles. On Sundays they are allowed to go out of the campus but by permission of the caretaker. Hostel has it own functions and events like fresher’s, farewell and small cultural events.

At the time of form filling every students have to fill a form for anti raging activities. If any students are involved in any form raging they are restricted from college. My seniors are very friendly and helpful. Seniors and juniors get a lot of time together in college parties and outings. The whole department along with teachers acts like a family.

Exams take around 1 or 1.5 months of the year. There is no semester system only exam happens yearly. Practical exam are held before 2-3 weeks of the theory paper. Each subject gets preparation time of 3-4 days between exams. 10 marks are internals for every subject.

The teachers are highly qualified and friendly. Many of them have PH.D degree and have experience about 10-15 years of teaching. For each subjects there are at least two teachers. There are also some research scholars who teach sometimes a unit or two. There are no different laboratory teachers but our subjects only help in our practical subjects.
