Birla Global University-A life in itself

During my time, Birla Global University requires us to have a minimum of 60% in 12th to secure admission. There was as such no entrance exam and very selected students had to go for PI. For me, it was a very smooth process. I had gotten admission to both Amity Kolkata and SCMS Pune but my hometown location suited me more at that moment so, I decided to stay back.

Albeit being from a science background, I chose BBA because I had an interest in core management roles and wanted to gain knowledge about how business market. Teachers here made it easy for everybody to be crisp and clear about the concepts and also were available to clear doubts, in any occurred. The teaching method is mostly ppt based while there are few who will recommend books for extra knowledge. In the end, it depends on an individual how he/she/others benefit from it, but opportunities are ample. Our batch had only one setback and that was coronavirus pandemic.

I paid 411000 for the course since I didn't opt for hostel accommodation but now the course fees have changed as there are different specializations now. So, according to the specialization the fee structure depends. I didn't take any financial assistance but one can go to UCO Bank and Andhra Bank if education loan is required.

We had the opportunity to spend only 1 and a half years on campus after the pandemic began. Even in those 1 and half years, we got ample events to be a part of like BGU annual fest, Freshers, farewell, Sports fest. Even 92.7 FM had organized a competition in our college and a lot of people had participated. So, talking about campus life, it's a world in itself. You will have to go out of your comfort zone in order to benefit from such events. There are committees as well, just like any other college. We had a subject called 'Entrepreneurship' where we had got a task to start our venture. I and my teammates had started a natural juice center and we sold fresh juices which we used to make on the spot while there were others who started selling hand-made jewelry.
