Remarks

Passed 12 with any stream. Info regarding admission is available on site of higher education Haryana. Reservation is available for sc, st, obc, and students who have played at the national level. The admission process is pretty good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to prepare for civil services. If I talk about the faculty-student ratio then I would say sufficient no of teachers available for the present strength of the class. Well-trained, qualified, and experienced teachers teach us. Exams are conducted in the semester system. Total 6 semesters in each semester to pass you need to score 40% of the total no of marks.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 29200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost for a full 3-year course is 87600. For each year is 29200. There is no hike in fees. It is the same for the whole course. It is affordable to pay fees as you have to pay the fee semester-wise. The scholarship is given by govt to students who score above 70 % and by college even to students who score above 95.

Campus Life

Annual fest, athletic meet in nov, Inter department competitions are held regularly according to a yearly calendar of college. The classrooms are very good. Well, ventilation. Inter-college tournaments are organized regularly. Once I also participated in an intercollege football compt. held at Rewari. Very good campus in terms of infrastructure, academics.

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

RPS is not worthy college.

Based on the 12th examination with PCM we can choose the maths honors course. We can find the application form with online registration or after visiting the college and there are no application fees and no specific application date, you can apply whenever you want to apply. RPS is not a good choice at all

There is so much eligibility to take admission to this college. You have to just pass your 12th and you can take addmission very easily. In my case ,I got admission in a single visit..you don't have to follow such typical procedure which you do for other universities and colleges. You can register online from the college's site (not necessary) and visit the campus and pay fee that's it you will surely get admission no need to wait for any list they take all the applicants, especially in hons course. Addmission process is so easy you won't face any difficulty in it they will guide you and do all the formalities themselves as they want more and more addmission that's it....Read More
