Remarks
The eligibility in order to take admission is branched like BBA, bca is that you much have no supply in your 12th exams. For BTech you have the clear cut-off based on your JEE exams or your 12th exams. The application form is available on their official website which is www.jmit.ac.in or you can fill out the application form by visiting the college. The fee structure for bca in 2019 is around 35000 per year. But now maybe it is around 40000. The application depends on the previous batch's ends. You can check their official website for the application dates. No, I don't think there should be any improvements needed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason behind choosing BCA is that it is a 3-year course and you can sit in placements with Btech which is a 4-year course. So, basically if are good enough in your skills then you can get the same placement as a BTech student get. The ratio of faculty and student is 1:6. All the faculties are well qualified no doubt. The thing I like the most is their way of teaching. Most of the teachers are very humble and polite and they are very supportive. Exams are conducted 2 times a year (basically for each semester). I don't think it's a big deal to pass their exams. If a student is well prepared.
Placement Experience
For 3 year course, the placement eligible semester is 5th or for the 4-year course, it is the 6th semester. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Unthinkable, Deloitte, Josh, Net Solutions, Infosys, Cloud analogy, and many more visit our campus. The highest package offered is around 10-12 LPA. The average package offered is around 3.50-4LPA. Here I m talking about the CS, IT, and BCA placements. The profile offered is Analyst, Web developer, Software Engineer, Software developer, etc. Around 75% of the students are getting placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of JMIT is not too high. It's affordable. JMIT also provides scholarships like scholarships for SC/BC students, Meritious students, and more. Also if you are from the TFW category which is (Tuition fee waiver) then there is a lot of compensation for you. But TWF is only applicable for Btech students. Also, JMIT provides financial assistance by giving study loans to their students. Campus jobs are good enough as compared to other colleges of the located area. During graduation, if you are placed then the company gives you an internship or can say training for 3-4 months. THeir stipend is also good.
Campus Life
Campus life is good here. There are many events organized at JMIT like the Annual fest which is called Enchante, Tech fest which is known as technovanza, Blood donation mela, ED Mela and many more. The annual fest is conducted in the month of March or April. Tech fest is conducted in the month of January or February. There are a lot of books & journals available in the library. Students can easily issue there books from the library. Many sports activities like cricket, badminton athletics, volleyball, etc are conducted on the campus also many extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, acting, etc are conducted. Meanwhile, the social group or social life in it is quite interesting.
