Entrance Preview

I'm from tamilnadu, in our state the admission process is based on our 12th standard marks, I scored 85% marks and I got admitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course we study is only the history, We actually didn't studying anything about the present technology and future application. Some of faculties are so good at knowledge and teaching, most of them are really unfit.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't even got any internship as I'm doing my 5th semester, but internships are good for my seniors. And our management also giving internships for various companies such as royal Enfield, ford, Toyota, maruti Suzuki & also at Some of the govt institutions my Seniors went to the training & they felt it was very helpful and useful, me & my friends are eagerly waiting to attended this internship program as soon as possible.

Placement Experience

Placement are really good compared to other colleges, as we are also doing BAJA ATV as we participate in this competition and we will surely placed.

College Events

RAKSHA - the complete intelligent cum entertainment symposium for college students. We also usually conduct science expo for school students to create awareness about engineering among school students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As first graduate my fees is 40000 rupees for a year, if students are not first graduate the fees is 70000 rupees and the students from the backward and most backward classes have lower fees compared to the oc category students, the few a for the sc & st category students are comparatively low and the students with good mark will get scholarship and their fees will also be very lower.

Exam Structure

We usually have 3 internal tests for a semester & model test, as all these marks are considered as our internal and it is about 20 marks, and for remaining 80 we have external exam conducted by Anna university.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
