Remarks

The admission process was quite simple, I didn't have to give any entrance exam to get a B.Com course. Eligibility of the Course - you have to pass in class 12th with commerce stream. That is the only requirement. I think the college should speed up the process of selecting students as it can be late sometimes so if the college didn't select any student, the student has time to apply for some other college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I opted for the commerce stream in my high school. The faculty-to-student ratio in the college is okay. There are enough faculty members to answer students' queries. All the professors have done their Ph.D. in the subject they teach and the quality of education is top-notch in the college. I'm satisfied with it. How timely were term exams and how difficult was to pass - Lucknow University is the one who conducts exams in different colleges in Lucknow. I'd say out of 4 units in each subject if the student studies only 1 unit very well then he can easily pass the exam considering that he had submitted his assignments on time.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are total 3 semesters which are divided on a semester basis. So in total, the student has to give 6 exams to clear the Bcom and get a degree. So the fees are taken on a semesters basis. This is what the fees structure looks like. 1st semester - 4080 2nd Semester - 1080 3rd Semester - 4080 4th Semester - 1080 5th Semester - 4080 6th Semester - 1080 One can get all the information regarding this on their official website http://www.jnpg.org.in/Home.aspx.

Campus Life

3.5

Well the college doesn't really have any of those. It's the students who have to arrange things if they want to have any fest. The library has all the books and journals which students will need to aid them in their studies. The classroom is pretty basic as one would expect in normal school classes. The college has its own ground where the students can play their outdoor sports. The events are usually conducted by Lucknow University.

The core circular is moderately relevant but lens more forward theory than the practical application code, subject cover, fundamental concept and providing a base, but there is limited focus on industrial skill project work, coding or case studies which affect real world redness. Elective options are few restricting subject choice. The labour is mostly fake and really updated making it less aligned with the current industry. Trends exams are conducted twice a year medicine and M with internal contributing about 30% of the mark the frequency naval but timing of clashes with the critical session level is moderate theory tends to focus on road learning rather than the critical thinking. Overall the circular needs to more practical exposure, updated content and flexibility to prepare student for employment or higher studies.

Admission:

The admissions are purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria is a student must have passed INTERMEDIATE WITH 40% FOR GENERAL AND OBC, SC/ST -33% MARKS. There is no Interview and the total number of seats intake are 80. The admission process is quite straightforward and lucid. I chose B.com because it provides a broad scope of employment options and job scope for graduates as a large number of B.Com graduates choose to pursue self-employment or land lucrative salary packages in prestigious companies.

Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of high school, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off. Going in that much debt is a huge benefactor of people attending college because many people just cannot afford it.

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.
