Course Curriculum Overview
Based on the demand in the outside world for computer engineering students and also in the market and of course my dream to become a science student I have joined computer engineering. Coming to the college, the student's strength is nearly 1000 in the college whereas the faculty strength is nearly 50 to 70 and we cannot give our review on qualifications of the faculty as we don't know about their qualifications. Any how they are highly qualified we think but the teaching quality of the faculty is good. Coming to the examination point of view, the board will conduct mid-term examinations for every 2 months and 1-semester examinations for every 6 months. The examination pattern is 60 marks in each subject for the external examination and 40 marks will be from internals like assignments, fieldwork and from tests, etc. The examination difficulty level is medium and will be very easy in some subjects and will be very tough sometimes depending upon the difficulty level of the subject.
Fees and Financial Aid
Poor background students can also join and study in this college as we have studied, there will be no college fee taken from your own pocket but you have to apply for post-matric scholarships to get the scholarships and fee reimbursement under state government schemes but you have to spend your own money from your pockets to stay in the hostel for mess charges, etc as they charge nearly 2000 rupees for every month to stay in the hostel as they providing hostel facility but there is no campus placement for students in this college for most of the students but if you study well you can go to your higher education.
Campus Life
No fests are provided as it is a government college but the students themselves can form a group and can conduct and celebrate fests and cultural activities on the college premises. The college library is very old no new books will be available there. The classrooms are not bad but quite good as compared to other institutes. There is a college and students portal, where you can give grievances and you can know quite better about the surroundings etc.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel is worst compared to other private hostels but if you can afford to stay in private hostels it is better but they will charge more to stay in those hostels. No menu is followed in the hostels, they will only give the output whatever there is. To join the hostel you should have to fill out an application form and after 1 week they will allow you to stay in the hostel.
